    Abstract: An independent rear wheel drive assembly for three-wheeled motorcycles is provided having a wheel carrier adapted to rotatably support a wheel, and the wheel carrier includes an interior portion. Also provided is a control arm having a first end, a second end, and an interior portion. The first end of the control arm is pivotably coupled to the wheel carrier and the second end is pivotably coupled to a differential housing. A first end of a stabilizer bar is pivotably coupled to the wheel carrier and a second end is pivotably coupled to the differential housing. A first end of the drive shaft assembly is adapted to be coupled to the wheel and a second end is adapted to be coupled to a differential. Moreover, a portion of the drive shaft assembly is disposed within the interior portions of the wheel carrier and the interior portion of the control arm.
