  • Patent number: 4098037
Abstract: This invention is directed to and for use on mobile homes. The primary function of the structure is reduce and minimize roof rumble when the mobile home is exposed to natures turbulant forces. The structure consists of a pair of generally L shaped brackets, one bracket disposed at the intersection of each of the sidewalls with the roof. A connecting member is interposed between each of the L shaped brackets and fitted with means for maintaining said connecting member in substantial contact with the roof of the said mobile home, thus reducing and minimizing roof displacement which causes the rumble.

  • Patent number: 4063597
Abstract: There is presented a row marker adapted to be used with a tractor carrying seed-dispensing hoppers and having an hydraulic system and having a tool bar carried by the tractor for movement over the ground. The row marker comprises a frame for mounting on one end of the tool bar and carrying a pivoted first arm portion of the marking arm for oscillation between a substantially horizontal working position and a substantially vertical carrying position. A second arm portion of the marking arm has one end pivotally attached to the outer end of the first arm portion at a pivot shaft for oscillating movement between a generally vertical carrying position close to the first arm portion and a generally horizontal working position in alignment with the first arm portion in its working position. A marking element, such as a disc, is attached to the outer end of the second arm portion.

  • Patent number: 4056214
Abstract: The invention discloses a seed holding hopper or the like, which is mounted in vertical position on a planter vehicle. The hopper is cylindrical, closed at the top by a lid or cover, and closed at the bottom by a bottom member which has the usual seed exit opening through it. A clean-out opening is provided in the cylindrical wall of the hopper close to the bottom and a closure member is mounted on the inside of the hopper, conforming in shape to the cylinder portion of the hopper with guides holding the closure member close to the adjacent wall of the hopper and slidable vertically downward to close the clean-out opening and upwardly to clear the opening so that one may clean out any seed left in the hopper. The closure member, in open position, extends out through the top of the hopper and must be safely in the closed position for the lid or cover of the hopper to be placed in its usual position closing the hopper.
