    Abstract: A drawer assembly comprising back and side wall panels of extruded construction each comprising upper and lower hollow sections interconnected by a web defining a longitudinal recess which, in the drawer side wall panels, is adapted for engagement with drawer runners mounted in a cabinet or the like in which the drawer is to be supported in use, the wall panels being interconnected at right angles to one another by corner pieces having projections engaging in the open ends of the upper and lower hollow sections of the panels, and stop devices slidably mounted on said web at opposite ends of the back panel for movement between retracted inoperative positions in which the stop devices are clear of the longitudinal recesses of the side wall panels and extended operative positions in which portions of the stop devices project across said recesses for engagement with abutment members carried by the drawer runners.

    Abstract: A drawer having longitudinal tracks formed in the opposite side walls thereof and a pair of guide members mounted at the rear corners of the drawer and movable between retracted positions in which the guide members are clear of the rear ends of the associated tracks and operative positions in which the guide members extend across the ends of the respective tracks, the guide members being adapted to engage with respective drawer runners mounted in a supporting structure in which the drawer is supported in use to support and guide the rear end of the drawer on the runners.

    Abstract: A drawer side panel having a channel extending lengthwise of the face thereof which is outermost in use, the channel being parallel to one longitudinal edge of the panel and having a longitudinally extending lip projecting across the entrance to the channel from at least one longitudinal edge thereof. The panel is used with novel forms of drawer runner and may be adapted to be interchangeably mounted on runners of different construction. Various other novel components are also disclosed.

    Abstract: A drawer construction in which at least the sides and back are formed from identical hollow extruded plastics panels each provided with a longitudinal recess in the face thereof which will be innermost in use in order to accommodate a drawer bottom, and the panels being interconnected at right angles to one another by corner pieces engaged in the open ends of the panels. Detent means are preferably provided to retain the corner pieces securely in engagement with the open ends of the panels.
