  • Publication number: 20190275236
Abstract: An apparatus and method for the aseptic delivery of a solution in a wearable form factor is disclosed. A patch pump may include a start button that, upon activation, causes an elastic fluid path to move. The elastic fluid path may include a first end that moves along a first plane to penetrate a solution container as well as a second end that moves, concurrently, along a second plane to penetrate a user's tissue. The elastic fluid path may maintain its flow resistance during the concurrent movement. The patch pump's housing may include a door with an opening configured to enable the second end to penetrate a user via the opening. The door may open when the device is removed from the user such that a portion of the open door may extend further than the second end of the elastic fluid path to prevent exposure of the second end.

  • Patent number: 9826985
Abstract: A flexible bone tool comprising a bone tissue removal element configured at a distal end of the tool, at least two links coupled proximally to the bone tissue removal element, the links connected to each other by a radial interference connection in which at least one radially outwards extending protrusion of a first link is received within a recess of a subsequent link. In some embodiments, the links are interconnected by a “snap-fit” connection. In some embodiments, the flexible bone tool is configured for transferring torque at a magnitude sufficient for drilling and/or reaming a bore in a bone.

  • Publication number: 20100100103
Abstract: A device for manual manipulation of a guidewire including a generally cylindrical, integrally formed, compressible element arranged along a longitudinal axis and being compressible transversely to the longitudinal axis and having first, second and third, respectively uncompressed, fully compressed and partially compressed operative orientations, the element in the fully compressed operative orientation defining an axial slot adapted for side mounting of the element onto a guidewire and the element in the partially compressed operative orientation being adapted for tightly engaging a guidewire in the slot such that axial and rotational movement of the element produces corresponding axial and rotational movement of the guidewire.
