  • Publication number: 20100308127
Abstract: A process and apparatus for applying pest control particulates. The apparatus of the present invention comprises a duster including a bulb reservoir, charged with pest control particulate, and having an orifice closed by a releasably attachable cap. The cap is provided with an outlet communicating with a flexible conduit having a distal end with a rigid plastic tube. The distal end may be held stationary and trained on a target area while the bulb reservoir may be alternately reoriented, as the bulb is compressed, for controlled application of the pest control particulate. The invention also includes a vacuum cleaner operating in blower mode and blower hose assembly having a coupling port. The vacuum cleaner may be operated to induce a high speed air flow and the flexible conduit of the duster may be connected to the coupling port for entraining pest control particulate into the high speed air flow for greater range dispensing of the pest control particulate.

  • Publication number: 20090020622
Abstract: An apparatus and process for broadcasting pest control particulates. The vacuum cleaner may be operated to induce a high speed air flow and the flexible conduit of the duster may be connected to the coupling port for entraining pest control particulate into the high speed air flow for greater range dispersion of the pest control particulate.

  • Patent number: 5303438
Abstract: A strong, lightweight, one-piece rotation molded children's cot having a base, four side walls, and a cot surface. The cot surface contains grooves which serve to collect liquid waste from a child's bed-wetting accident, so as to sanitarily separate the child from the waste. The cot also is provided with a storage compartment as well as hand grips for easy moving and cleaning. The cots may be stacked for storage.

  • Patent number: 4620346
Abstract: A device to aid in the removal of residual textile material from a core element includes a platform to support plural core elements thereon and an indexing system to sequentially index the core elements into a cutting position. The indexing system includes an index plate fixed concentrically with respect to the platform and defines plural radially spaced-apart notches each corresponding to a respective core yarn cutting position. A pivotal base plate carries a pivotal pawl member. Camming of the base plate responsively causes the base plate to pivot in one direction thereby causing the pawl member to be disengaged from one notch and advanced to the next sequential notch. Upon pivotal movement of the base plate in a direction opposite to the one direction, advancement of the indexing plate and thus advancement of the core elements supported upon the platform occurs.

  • Patent number: 4283053
Abstract: An air powered rocket sled game which includes a body member having at least one and preferably two separate elongated air passageways, the ends of each passageway terminating in close proximity to form a substantial loop pattern. A pair of continuous loop intersecting tracks are provided, one along the upper surface of each passageway. The tracks are grooved and are in communication with the interior of the passageways by a plurality of inclined bores for slidably moving rocket sled projectiles along each track in a single direction. The body member includes a centrifugal blower having separate isolated outlets for each passageway and a valve for each passageway to selectively provide a flow of air along the passageway in a direction opposite to the direction of travel of the projectiles. Also included is a method of manufacturing the inclined bores to provide communication between the grooved tracks and the interior air passageways.

  • Patent number: 4237001
Abstract: An ore classifier adaptable for separating coal from inter-mixed heavy material and which performs a washing operation for the coal. The classifier has an elongated inclined trough, the floor of which is provided with transverse corrugations constructed to resist the movement of particles down the incline. A pair of side panels are provided in the trough to form elongated passageways along the inside sides of the trough, the lower ends of the passageways being closed. The trough is mounted on a frame and is vibrated as water and coal mixed with other ore is introduced into the trough whereby the coal is washed out of the lower end of the trough and the coarse and fine heavies are forced out of the upper end of the trough and passageways, respectively.

  • Patent number: 4159242
Abstract: An apparatus for separating coarse and fine particles of intermediate specific gravity from an aggregate containing said particles of intermediate specific gravity as well as fine and coarse particles of higher specific gravity by use of a liquid of lesser specific gravity than any of said particles, which apparatus includes a pair of inclined, axially rotating, concentrically disposed helical ribbon flights separately secured within an annular housing such that the rotating action of said flights transports the fine and coarse particles of heavier specific gravity out of the flowing aggregate slurry. The fluid is then drained from the intermediate specific gravity particles passing with the fluid through the lower end of the annular housing in a screened cylinder.
