  • Patent number: 9935795
Abstract: A driver circuit device using driver equalization in power and ground terminated transmission line channels. The driver circuit device can include a weaker pull-up driver, which is needed to pre-emphasize the pull-up signal for driver equalization in power terminated transmission line channels. The driver circuit device can also include a weaker pull-down driver, which is needed to pre-emphasize the pull-down signal for driver equalization in ground terminated transmission line channels. In the transmission line channels with power terminations, a weaker pull-up Ron is implemented. In the transmission line channels with ground terminations, a weaker pull-down Ron is implemented. Drivers implemented in power and/or ground terminated transmission line channels can be used to improve device performance, such as in signal eye opening.

  • Publication number: 20180089092
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure generally relate to a method and device for managing caches. In particular, the method may include in response to receiving a request to write data to the cache, determining the amount of data to be written. The method may further include in response to the amount of the data exceeding a threshold amount, skipping writing data to the cache and writing the data to a lower level storage of the cache. Corresponding systems, apparatus and computer program products are also provided.

  • Patent number: 8693557
Abstract: A clock receiver includes a capacitive coupling circuit for filtering out direct-current voltages from a differential clock signal. In this way, the capacitive coupling circuit rejects common-mode noise in the differential clock signal. The clock receiver also includes a bias circuit for establishing a bias voltage in the differential clock signal and a differential amplifier for amplifying the differential clock signal. Further, the differential amplifier generate a feedback differential clock signal and provides the feedback differential clock signal to the bias circuit for further rejecting common-mode noise in the differential clock signal. The feedback differential clock signal functions as a negative feedback signal for rejecting common-mode noise in the differential clock signal and as a positive feedback signal for amplifying the differential clock signal.

  • Patent number: 8577724
Abstract: A multi-provider response selector (MPRS) receives requests and provides respective selected responses. Each request includes respective selection criteria (such as keywords and demographic/geographic information) and/or respective other information (such as page location/time and demographic/geographic information). The MPRS uses the respective selection criteria to fill each of the requests (obtaining the respective selected responses) from one of a plurality of response providers, where the response providers are optionally selected in an order determined by the respective other information and/or other factors such as value returned from the response providers. Optionally, a content server receives content requests for respective specified content, generates requests for the MPRS, and returns the specified contents along with respective selected responses.

  • Patent number: 8319959
Abstract: System and method for quality assurance for reticles used in manufacturing of integrated circuits. According to an embodiment, the present invention provides a method for inspecting one or more blanks. For example, the blanks are prepared to be used as reticles for manufacturing of integrated circuits. The method includes a step for providing a blank. For example, the blank includes an unknown level of impure particles. The method also includes a step for subjecting the blank to radiation at a first radiation level. The method additionally includes a step for receiving reflected radiation by the radiation source. Also, the method includes a step for determining a particle level based on at least the reflected radiation. Additionally, the method includes a step for determining whether to use the blank to produce a reticle.
