    Abstract: The apparatus has a support member with a surface that has a pervious portion. The support member is positioned in a tank or container of liquid. A flexible carrier member with a pervious portion is positioned in overlying relation with the surface of the support member. A flexible, impervious photographic material is positioned on the flexible carrier member and a suction is applied through the pervious portion of the support member surface and through the pervious portion of the flexible carrier member to engage the flexible, impervious photographic material on the flexible carrier member. The flexible carrier member with the flexible, impervious photographic material engaged thereto is conveyed on the surface of the support member through the liquid bath.
