  • Publication number: 20220392644
Abstract: A medical questionnaire may be provided to a patient and responses to the medical questionnaire may be scored using a scoring procedure associated with the medical questionnaire. The scored responses may then be used to determine a wellness score for the patient. At times, the medical questionnaire may be treatment, diagnosis, and/or symptom specific and the wellness scores determined from the responses thereto may be used to determine a wellness score regarding the patient's wellness with regard to the treatment, diagnosis, and/or symptom. The wellness score may be provided to the patient, a treatment provider, a treatment facility, and/or a treatment administrator. At times a first and second wellness score may be determined and a difference therebetween may be used to determine an improvement score.

  • Patent number: 9901881
Abstract: Described herein is a method for altering the characteristics of a membrane comprising a dielectric material. The method comprises heating the membrane and applying an electric field in a direction out of the plane of the membrane to at least a portion of the dielectric material. At least a portion of the dielectric material becomes aligned with the applied electric field. In some embodiments, the membrane is piezoelectric and application of an electric signal to the membrane causes out of plane movement of the membrane. Also disclosed are membranes and systems and apparatuses comprising such membranes.

  • Patent number: 8519719
Abstract: A measurement system is provided for measuring a complex transfer function of a system under test. The measurement system comprises a signal source for generating an input signal to be applied to the system under test, a signal detection device for detecting a response signal of the system under test in response to the input signal; and a signal analyzing system for determining the gain and phase shift of the system under test by comparing the response signal to the input signal. The signal analyzing system includes phase adjustment means to adjust a relative phase difference of the detected response signal and input signal; and curve fitting means to identify a phase difference adjustment of the phase adjustment means which gives the best fit of the response signal to the input signal. The phase measurement of the response signal is determined from the best fit phase difference adjustment.
