  • Patent number: 8807158
Abstract: An improved venturi-style eductor apparatus for dispensing chemicals into a motive fluid stream where an eductor body FIG. 3 is manufactured by molding a chemically inert polymer material FIG. 2 around and inside a metallic insert FIG. 1. Opposing ends of the metallic insert may be threaded, flanged, or machined for push-in connection to facilitate mating with a motive fluid source and a dispensing device. By manufacturing an eductor assembly using a single-piece metal insert over-molded with an inert polymer provides improved chemical resistance for aggressive applications and allows improvements in venturi geometry not achievable using traditional machined components. This apparatus reduces manufacturing cost over current state-of-the-art eductor assemblies by using a single molding step to create flow-path geometry in the eductor body while retaining mechanical strength with the metallic insert FIG. 1.

  • Publication number: 20100281626
Abstract: A toilet (13) has a nappy holder mounted thereon. The nappy holder (15) contains a nappy ((1),also known as a diaper) of the type comprising a main body portion (3) and a tongue portion (5) for collecting excreta from a baby. The nappy holder (15) is so arranged that the tongue portion is positioned away from the main body portion of the nappy, such that when the toilet is flushed, the flush washes over the tongue portion and washes excreta (such as faeces and urine) off the tongue portion and into the toilet bowl. The nappy holder may have a wire frame.

Abstract: A differential switching converter system is disclosed. The converter system includes a plurality of switching converters having at least first and second converters. The plurality of switching converters is coupled in a differential configuration across an output load. Each converter has at least first and second transistors configured to apply and receive energy to and from an energy storage element. The converter system also includes a controller, which is configured to control the operation of the first and second transistors of each converter. The controller synchronizes turn-on and turn-off of the first transistor in the first converter with that of the first transistor in the second converter. The controller also controls turn-on and turn-off of the second transistors in the first and second converters to provide first and second duty cycles, respectively.
