  • Publication number: 20240100732
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a power tool including a motor housing and an electric motor situated within the motor housing. The electric motor is configured to provide rotational energy to rotate an output device of the power tool about an output axis. The power tool also includes a cover configured to cover at least a portion of a surface of the motor housing that faces the output device. The power tool further includes a first lighting device located within the cover and a second lighting device located within the cover. The first lighting device and the second lighting device are located around the output axis and are separated from each other by at least 130 degrees about the output axis. • Patent number: 8852288
Abstract: A hip prosthesis has an oblong plate with at one head end a mounting pin provided with a hinge ball, and at the opposite head end a fastening pin for fastening the hip prosthesis in a shaft of a bone. A first part of the plate extends on a first side of the mounting pin. The mounting pin forms an angle ? smaller than 90 degrees with the first part of the plate and the tangent to the fastening pin at the location of the connection between the fastening pin and the first part of the plate forms an angle ? greater than 90 degrees with the first part of the plate. In order to insert the hip prosthesis into a bone in a simple manner, the fastening pin includes a curved shape from the plate onwards in a direction to the first part of the plate.

  • Publication number: 20110060745
Abstract: A method system and computer having a database management system to apply a user-provided index authored by a programmer, wherein the user-provided index is accepted by the computer and the database management system applies the user-provided index and the user authored index descriptor in database searches. A user may select, generate, and direct the computer to generate, or input an index descriptor, or information used by the computer to populate an index descriptor. The computer may examine the index descriptor in response to receipt or generation of a search query, and determine a relevance of the user-provided index for use in processing the query. The database management system may include a plurality of indexes, and the computer may evaluate the index descriptor to determine a relevance of the user provided index relative to the plurality of indexes. The computer may optionally apply a sequence of indexes in processing a search.
