The outer head portion has a rim for placement in contact with the skin along with the bristles of the brush. Air flow is generated in the head to bring the skin into engagement with the rim and bristles and transport removed skin portions.

Abstract: An apparatus and system are disclosed for displaying an image in conjunction with a removable memory cartridge. In one embodiment, the apparatus includes a housing that encloses a memory device for storing content data and a protrusion extending from the housing, the protrusion configured to display an image. The apparatus may further comprise an interface to connect the memory device to a base unit. In one embodiment, the content data is an audible message. In addition, the displayed image on the protrusion may be related to the content data stored on the memory device. For example, the displayed image may be an illustration related to an audible story stored on the memory device. In a further embodiment, the protrusion is translucent and may be displayed in front of a light source.

Abstract: The present invention is a fluid conduit coupling assembly for coupling a first fluid conduit to a second fluid conduit. The fluid conduit coupling assembly comprises a first coupler and a second coupler. The first coupler is for connecting to the first fluid conduit and comprises a first housing and a first valve. The first valve comprises a first lever arm. The second coupler is for connecting to the second fluid conduit and comprises a second housing and a second valve. The second valve comprises a second lever arm. When a force is applied to couple together the couplers, at least a portion of said force is communicated to each lever arm, thereby causing each valve to pivot from a closed position to an open position. The first valve and first lever arm are contained within the first housing, and the second valve and second lever arm are contained within the second housing.

Abstract: An apparatus, system, and method are disclosed for sensing the presence of a person and directing an audible message to the person. The apparatus, in one embodiment, is configured to provide an interactive lamp that includes a housing, one or more sensors disposed within the housing, one or more speakers connected with the sensor, a light source for emitting light that functions independently of the sensor, and a microcontroller disposed within the housing for initiating communication of the audible message in response to a sensor event detected by the sensor. The audible message of the sensor-activated story lamp may comprise one or more messages that may be used for multiple purposes.

Abstract: A compact and portable hole punch for manually punching holes through sheet-like material to produce hole sets which enable the material to be mounted on multi-ring binders. The hole punch includes male and female plates which are pivotally mounted together. The male plate carries a plurality of punch pegs while the female plate carries die openings through which the punch pegs penetrate to cut the openings in the material when the plates are pressed together. The female plate is formed with extension portions which provide surfaces permitting the user to releasably hold the material during the punching operation. A receptacle is removably mounted on the female plate for catching waste material from the die openings, and an adjustable stop guide is mounted on the receptacle or directly into the female plate.
