A body is formed adjacent to the sealing element, the body defining an aperture for providing access to contents of the lever-lid can. The annular protrusion is adapted to fit into a channel of the lever-lid can and provide a first seal against liquid entering the channel, and the lip is adapted to fit against an internal edge of the lever-lid can, the lip providing a second seal to prevent liquid entering the channel from an inside of the lever-lid can.
