    Abstract: A radiator cap assembly has a cap, a tether and a seal member. The seal member is adapted to float upon coolant within the radiator. Upon removal of the cap while the coolant is in an elevated temperature and pressure condition, the seal member will cover the f ill tube to prevent liquid from exiting the radiator.
