  • Patent number: 4404822
Abstract: A pre-coiled cable-lock device for use with a motorcycle and other like vehicles, wherein the device comprises a housing having a drum-like compartment in which an elongated precoiled cable is stored. The housing includes a securing member for attaching the housing to a suitable frame member of the motorcycle. One end of the cable is fixedly secured within the compartment, and the opposite free end is provided with a keeper member arranged to be received in and form part of the housing wall when in a stored mode, the keeper being held therein by a locking front plate. When in a cable-locking mode, the cable is looped in a suitable manner to a fixed structure or through one wheel, the keeper member being reinserted into the housing wall and again held in place by the locking plate, thereby preventing the removal of the keeper member.

  • Patent number: 4152877
Abstract: A wire clip conformed as a Z-shaped, planar wire platform, one end of the Z being bent out of the plane to form an insertable point to provide support for plaster patches. A stiff backing surface may thus be supported by the clips inserted at various points along the edges of the hole to be patched, the clips and the backing surface providing the necessary structure onto which the repair plaster may be accumulated.

  • Patent number: 4112720
Abstract: A bicycle lock assembly that is permanently mounted on the frame of a two-wheeled vehicle adjacent the rear wheel of the latter, with the assembly including a key-operated or combination lock as a part thereof. An elongate cable is supported by a spring-loaded reel within the assembly. The cable on the free end thereof has a T-shaped rigid member. When the cable is looped between the spokes of the rear wheel, the T-shaped member may be removably engaged by the assembly through the manipulation of the lock that forms a part thereof, and the cable preventing movement of the bicycle by concurrent rotation of both the front and back wheels thereof.
