    Abstract: A drag-reducing structure for athletic equipment and other products is disclosed. The structure includes a substantially cylindrical portion and a plurality of turbulence generators secured to the cylindrical portion. The cylindrical portion is substantially perpendicular to a direction of fluid movement, and the cylindrical portion has a leading edge oriented toward the direction of fluid movement. Each of the turbulence generators may have a V-shaped configuration with a point that is oriented toward the leading edge, or the turbulence generators may have another configuration. At least a portion of the turbulence generators are located in a range of 50 degrees and 90 degrees from the leading edge.
