Abstract: A process is disclosed for the preparation of multilayered composite materials comprising, as components: (A) a backing material, (B) optionally at least one tie layer and (C) a polymer layer, wherein a polymer layer (C) is formed using a mold, optionally at least one organic adhesive is applied all over or partially to backing material (A) and/or to polymer layer (C) and then polymer layer (C) is bonded with backing material (A) in point, strip or two-dimensional fashion, polymer layer (C) and/or at least one tie layer (B) being prepared from aqueous polymer dispersions which comprise at least one crosslinking agent C and from 0.1 to 5% by weight of at least one solvent selected from dipropylene glycol dimethyl ether and/or 1,2-propanediol diacetate.

Abstract: Multilayered composite system comprising (A) a sheetlike substrate, (B) optionally a bonding layer, which may be formed uniformly or partially, (C) a foam layer, (D) optionally a bonding layer of the same material as said bonding layer (B) or of a material other than said bonding layer (B), (E) a polymer layer which includes capillaries extending through the entire thickness of said polymer layer (E), wherein said polymer layer (E) includes a pattern with a fishscale or sharkskin appearance.

Abstract: Process for producing semifinished products from sheet-like fiber structures and from binders, by first (i) treating a sheet-like fiber structure with a binder and, if appropriate, drying it to a moisture content of from 4 to 30% by weight, (ii) coating the surface of the resultant treated fiber structure on one or both sides with a curable binder, and (iii) drying the coated fiber structure to a residual moisture content of from 4 to 30% by weight, to give a semifinished product, and the resultant semifinished product, process for producing moldings via heating of the semifinished product to a temperature above the temperature at which the binders crosslink, and use of the moldings as internal parts for motor vehicles, as packing material, as single-use tableware, as office accessories, as trays, as decorative parts in the furniture industry, or else as inserts for closets, or drawers, or rear walls of furniture.
