  • Patent number: 11972041
Abstract: A display arrangement for presenting video information to a human operator in a vehicle senses vehicle movements and movements of a head mounted display unit. Based on vehicle movements and movements of the display unit, a virtual scenario with background video data and application video data are generated to a display arrangement. The background video data are modified so background video moves opposite to vehicle movements. The application video data are modified so application video moves according to vehicle movement. A perspective onto the application video can be modified based on relative movements of the display unit with respect to the vehicle. This may reduce conflicts between sensory impressions of the vestibular system and eyes of the operator because movements of the vehicle and movements of the display unit are considered when generating and modifying the background and application video data presented to the operator.

  • Patent number: 10372288
Abstract: A representation device for representing and interacting with a three-dimensional virtual scenario includes an input unit and at least one representation region for representing the three-dimensional scenario. A marking element may be moved on a virtual surface area with two translational degrees of freedom such that each virtual object in the three-dimensional virtual scenario may be selected with the marking element.

  • Publication number: 20140368497
Abstract: A representation device has a first representation region and a second representation region for representing a three-dimensional scenario. The first representation region is disposed in a first plane and the second representation region is disposed in a second plane, the first plane and the second plane forming an included angle ? relative to one another. The angled position reduces conflict between convergence and accommodation in the human visual apparatus, supporting low-fatigue viewing of a three-dimensional scenario.

  • Publication number: 20140289649
Abstract: A display apparatus for depicting a three-dimensional scenario includes a first and a second projection device, and a holographic display device having a first and a second holographic unit. A depiction apparatus includes a number of the display apparatuses for the depiction and cooperative processing of a three-dimensional scenario by a number of users that each observe the three-dimensional scenario from an individually determinable perspective.

  • Publication number: 20140282267
Abstract: A display device for a three-dimensional virtual scenario for selecting objects in the virtual scenario provides feedback upon successful selection of an object. The display device is designed to output a haptic or tactile, optical or acoustic feedback upon selection of a virtual object.
