Abstract: There is disclosed a medication container which is adapted to be side loaded with unit doses of medication during packaging operations. After being filled with the unit doses of medication, the container side is sealed. The medication doses can be removed by a user from the sealed container by means of a child resistant removable closure at one end of the container.

Abstract: A powder inhaler device not requiring a propellant is disclosed which comprises a unit dose package and delivery system which is breath actuated and permits a patient to inhale through the mouth a medication in powder form for administration to the bronchia and lungs. The powder dose is contained in a compartment of the device which is sealed off from the environment by a peel-off piece of lidding material. The compartment has two apertures: one over which the mouth of the patient is placed to receive the powder medication by inhalation; and the other which permits ingress of air to aerosolize the powder medication.

Abstract: There is disclosed a novel sandwich blister package for tablets and similar articles which generally comprises a plastic film having a plurality of heat-formed cavities which contain tablets or similar articles; and, a plastic film/aluminum foil laminate sheet superimposed upon and heat sealed to the plastic film to form a blister card of pre-set size, each blister card being bonded to another blister card so that the aluminum foil forms the outer protective cover with the plastic film sandwiched between them.
