Abstract: An apparatus and method for assessing the functional state of a user. Interface logic preferably executing on a mobile device permits the accumulation of bio-signals from a user. The bio-signals may be assessed to determine the functional state of various body systems. The assessments may be performed by processing logic located at a distance from the user to permit multiple assessments to happen at the same time. Electromyography is used for muscle assessment to permit assessment without muscle exhaustion. Bio-signal propagation is preferably wireless. Various embodiments are disclosed.
