Abstract: There is provided herein a real-time content transmitter comprising a bandwidth administration module adapted to regulate content transmission between the transmitter and one or more receivers, and to further regulate content retransmission from the one or more receivers. The transmitter may further include an encoding module adapted to encode content. The transmitter may further include a content transporter adapted to combine content streams in real time. There is also provided a real-time content receiver comprising communication module adapted to receive content from one or more sources based on a signal from a bandwidth administration module, the communication module further adapted to retransmit received content to one or more destinations based on a signal from a bandwidth administration module. The receiver may further include a content transporter adapted to combine content streams in real time.
