  • Publication number: 20180268411
Abstract: A method and system for providing secure card-based discrete or repeating transactions. A client having a credit/debit card, e-wallet or other financial account generates unique tokenized payment credentials for the card transaction using a local computer process. The tokenized payment credentials comply with Payment Card System format and can be provided to the merchant and included in a transaction authorization message from the merchant. A payment authorization server within the card payment system authenticates the tokenized credentials and forwards a transaction authorization message to an issuer or other payment processer.

  • Patent number: 7865188
Abstract: A method for communication in an environment including a circuit-switched network and a packet-switched network, both of which include a respective connectivity layer including one or more switching elements and a respective service layer including one or more service platforms. A request is accepted to set up a call for a communication terminal associated with one or more of the networks. The call is established responsively to the request via one or more of the switching elements. At least one service platform in the service layer of the circuit-switched network is invoked to provide a first ancillary call service to the call, and at least one second service platform in the service layer of the packet-switched network is invoked to provide a second ancillary call service to the call.

  • Patent number: 7496111
Abstract: A service gateway (42) includes one or more network adapters (62), configured to capture signaling messages in respective communication networks (28, 50, 56) and to process the signaling messages to generate network signaling primitives indicative of network events in a network-independent format. A call processor (60) is coupled to receive and process the signaling primitives from the network adapters so as to generate service requests for processing by one or more application servers (44, 48, 58), and to receive and process service instructions from the application servers in response to the service requests so as to generate network instruction primitives to the one or more network adapters, causing the network adapters to convey signaling instructions to the respective networks.

  • Publication number: 20060229078
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for communication includes assigning to at least first and second communication terminals (22) of a communication system (20) at least respective first and second private identities and a common public identity different from at least the first and second private identities. Registrations of the public identity and of at least the first and second private identities are simultaneously maintained in the communication system (20). A request is received to set up a call in which the public identity serves as one of a source and a destination of the call. The call is established between a third communication terminal and one of at least the first and second communication terminals (22) using the simultaneously-maintained registrations.
