  • Patent number: 11623425
Abstract: A carrier material for vinyl floor covering, wherein the carrier material includes a nonwoven layer containing at least 50 wt. % of thermoplastic fibers and a scrim for eliminating wrinkles in the vinyl floor covering. The scrim includes weft yarns having a linear density of 28 tex or less. The carrier material prevents the formation of surface irregularities and printing errors in the vinyl floor covering.

  • Publication number: 20170314191
Abstract: A primary carpet backing for latex free tufted carpets, including tufting yarns tufted into the backing, the yarns consisting essentially of a first thermoplastic polymer selected from a polyamide, a polyester or a polyolefin, the polymer having a first melting temperature, and wherein the back stitches of the tufting yarns have been at least partially melted for achieving tuft bind in the latex free tufted carpet after the melted back stitches have been cooled to room temperature, the primary carpet backing including at least a first layer of fibers, wherein the backing consists for at least 30 wt. % of one or more lower melting polymers of the same polymer family as the first polymer included in the tufting yarns and wherein each of the lower melting polymers has a melting temperature which is equal to or less than the first melting temperature.

  • Publication number: 20050012021
Abstract: The invention pertains to a photovoltaic roofing panel comprising a carrier and a solar cell unit, the solar cell unit being divided into individual solar cells with at least two solar cells being connected in series, wherein at least one solar cell is connected in series to a non-adjacent solar cell. Preferably, each cell in n connection in series will supply essentially the same amount of current. More preferably, the invention pertains to photovoltaic roofing panel comprising a carrier and a solar cell unit, with the carrier having a recurrent profile with a recurrent pattern length l and a length of the profile k, with the length of the profile k being the length of the profile in the recurrent pattern length l, with the carrier being provided with a solar cell unit which perpendicular to the recurrent pattern length l is divided up into solar cells c1 . . . cn having a width w1 . . . wn, with the sum of w1 . . . wn being equal to the length of the profile k, and with at least one cell c1 . . .
