  • Publication number: 20220003525
Abstract: A method and a system are provided for detecting manned and unmanned vehicles intruding into a restricted area, including: operating a first vehicle and measuring multiple frequencies of electromagnetic radiation emitted from the first vehicle; determining, from the multiple frequencies of emitted electromagnetic radiation, one or more identifying electromagnetic radiation characteristics; and configuring a radio receiver to detect the one or more identifying electromagnetic radiation characteristics emitted by a second vehicle at a distance of a detection range.

  • Patent number: 7974232
Abstract: Some embodiments of the present invention relate to an apparatus for managing communications within a distributed network. According to some embodiments of the invention, the apparatus may include a communication management module and a synchronization module. The communication management module may be operatively coupled to a communication module belonging to the distributed network. The communication management module may be adapted to allocate for each communication within the network a communication frame comprised of a predetermined number of timeslots. The communication management module may configure the communication module coupled thereto to repeat a communication at one or more of the timeslots of the frame allocated for the communication. The timeslots may, for example, be equal in length and may each correspond to a predetermined fraction of the length of a communication frame.

  • Patent number: 7907055
Abstract: Some embodiments of the invention relate to a circuit for allowing an RFID transponder to relay transmissions. According to some embodiments of the invention, a circuit for allowing a first RFID transponder to relay transmissions may include a logic module and a synchronization module. The logic module may be configured to operate in a relay mode. While in the relay mode, the logic module may be adapted to cause the first RFID transponder to relay a communication received at the transponder. The synchronization module may be adapted to synchronize the first RFID transponder with at least a second RFID transponder, such that the relay communication is synchronized with a communication relayed by the second RFID transponder.

  • Publication number: 20100195448
Abstract: A wireless clock system includes a master clock or other master time source, and a plurality of slave clocks or repeater devices. Each slave clock can both wirelessly receive and wirelessly transmit time signals including current time data. To avoid conflicts among the slave clocks, each slave clock transmits time signals in a frequency-hopping manner over pseudo-randomized frequencies and at pseudo-randomized transmission start times. In another embodiment, power consumption at the slave clocks is minimized by activating and deactivating receivers within the slave clocks at predetermined times and at predetermined intervals, each interval being longer than the previous interval, until valid time signals are received from either the master clock or another slave clock. Calibration of the slave clock's time base is also performed.
