    Abstract: Structural failures in high temperature piping arrangements are eliminated or greatly reduced by employing special pipe fittings which are connected to hanger or guide members. Each of the special pipe fittings is provided with a hollow boss to which a pipe hanging member may be fixedly secured. Suitable venting means are provided between the chamber in the hollow boss and the space outside thereof so as to prevent undue buildup of pressure within the boss.
