  • Publication number: 20120083196
Abstract: A technique facilitates the conditioning of air in an equipment room by utilizing external, ambient air and mixing the external air with warmer air from the equipment room to maintain the equipment room within a desired temperature range. In one embodiment, the technique employs an equipment room containing equipment which produces heat. Cool air is routed from an external environment into the equipment room through a cold air duct. Additionally, an exhaust air duct is used to enable the discharge of warm air from the equipment room to the external environment. The temperature of the incoming cool air is adjusted by flowing warm air from the equipment room through a crossover duct able to conduct all or a portion of the airflow routed through the equipment room.

  • Patent number: 7726111
Abstract: A belt pickup header for an agricultural harvesting machine includes a frame having opposite ends, a belt pickup carried by the frame, and a pair of suspension arms carrying the belt pickup. Each suspension arm is pivotally coupled with a respective frame end. A pair of compression springs are each positioned between a respective suspension arm and corresponding frame end. Each spring vertically supports a respective suspension arm. A pair of fluid shocks are each interconnected between a respective suspension arm and corresponding frame end. Each fluid shock damps movement of the corresponding suspension arm.

  • Patent number: 4295681
Abstract: A seat backrest having a contourable upholstered portion supported by a rigid frame portion includes means to produce a desired supporting contour in the lumbar region of the seat occupant. The contour-producing means includes a lumbar pad, a pair of link members connecting the lumbar pad to the frame, and a double threaded shaft means operable by a seated occupant from the side of the backrest for moving and holding the link members in an infinite number of fixed, generally horizontal positions forward of the frame. The position of maximum lumbar support can be adjusted vertically by pivoting the link members and lumbar pad by means of a pin which is engaged with an angled slot in a sliding plate.
