  • Publication number: 20230061351
Abstract: An eating assistance device includes a curved plate and a handle. The curved plate is sized and configured to be disposed within an oral cavity of a mouth between a cheek and adjacent teeth. The curved plate is sized and configured to follow an exterior contour of the adjacent teeth along a lateral side of the mouth. The curved plate is sized and configured to span a gap between top and bottom teeth of the adjacent teeth when a jaw within the mouth is opened to retain food items within the oral cavity. The curved plate has top and bottom edges that are substantially parallel. The handle extends from the mouth plate and is disposed on an exterior of the mouth when the curved plate is disposed within the oral cavity.

  • Publication number: 20150027587
Abstract: An apparatus used for cutting tenons consists of a plurality of mounting brackets, a plurality of arms, a motor, and a pair of threaded rods. The plurality of mounting brackets attaches the apparatus to an external platform. The motor is mounted onto one of the plurality of arms allowing the motor to slide along the length of the arm. The log in which the tenon is to be cut is placed in between the pair of threaded rods. By rotating the log with the use of one of the threaded rods or with the use of a drill, the log makes contact with the motor. The rotating motion of both the log and also the motor, results in a tenon being cut on the log. Additionally, two motors can also be used in tenon cutting such that a tenon with different diameters can be cut simultaneously.

  • Patent number: 7174656
Abstract: A tape measure system for efficiently marking a measured object. The tape measure system includes a housing with a recoil unit containing a length of a tape measure, a dispensing neck extending from the housing for guiding and dispensing the tape measure, and wherein the dispensing neck includes a guide edge for marking a surface of a measured object. A pair of teeth extend from the dispensing neck for selectively engaging and marking the surface of the measured object. The dispensing neck includes a recessed portion exposing a portion of the tape measure for allowing frictional engagement of the tape measure by the user.

  • Patent number: 6799615
Abstract: A stand is made up of two channel shaped sides. There is a removable top that has holes drilled in it so a router with router bits of different diameters and shapes, such as round-nosed and straight router bits or heads, can be attached. There is a removable wood guide having a front with two wood guide sides attached to it. The electric router is the power source for the cutter. The round nose bit cuts the wood ends to form tenons of different diameters and shapes, such as radius, chamfered (tapered) or square-shouldered tenons. The top will be a flat surface with holes that will support a router and attach to the sides. The two channel shaped sides will include holes for attaching a top, securing it to a work bench, and attaching wood guides. The fronts will have different diameter holes, and will attach to wood guide sides. The wood guide sides will have a slot where a bolt can pass through to attach wood guides to channel sides.
