Patent number: 11002383Abstract: A combination securing clip is provided that includes at least two different connectors each securable to a desired surface and a region securable to a conduit. The region can be directly and/or indirectly secured to the conduit. In some embodiments, the at least two connectors include two different types of connectors—and include a push-in connector and a slide-on connector. Thus, the combination securing clip can include a slide-on connector configured to slide on to a surface to secure the clip to the surface, a push-in connector configured to push in to an opening in the surface to secure the clip to the surface, and a directly and/or indirectly region securable to a conduit.Type: GrantFiled: August 6, 2018Date of Patent: May 11, 2021Assignee: Hubbell IncorporatedInventor: Kurt Leslie Gray Naugler

Patent number: 8696363Abstract: An apparatus for simulation of an endoscopy operation. A dummy endoscope (1) is inserted into a unit (2) which monitors the position of the dummy instrument and provides force feedback to the instrument in accordance with a stored software model. A virtual image simulating the view from the endoscope is displayed. Additional simulation is provided of an external condition to the patient body, for example patient orientation (8), external pressure applied to the body (9), (10) and trans-illumination (11).Type: GrantFiled: October 1, 2002Date of Patent: April 15, 2014Assignee: KeyMed (Medical & Industrial Equipment) LimitedInventors: Roger Leslie Gray, Ian Michael Ross, Stuart Malcolm Greengrass, Daniel Mark Wallaker

Patent number: 3946259Abstract: A stepping motor for use in a remote register, such as is used for the remote reading of electricity meters, is arranged to be advanced by current pulses of known constant polarity. The motor includes magnetic biasing means which effect further rotation of the rotor of the stepping motor in the same given direction each time that an input current pulse ends. The motor can therefore be controlled by a simple ON/OFF switch in the electricity meter circuit with a rectifier being provided in the remote register. The magnetic biasing means may consist of one or more cylindrical magnets co-axial with the rotor, or a straight or arcuate bar magnet adjacent to the periphery of the rotor.Type: GrantFiled: September 14, 1973Date of Patent: March 23, 1976Assignee: Sangamo Weston LimitedInventors: Maurice Graham McBride, Bernard Herbert Leslie Gray
