Abstract: A pallet system includes a modular base element providing a horizontal supporting surface (17) and, at each corner, an array of vertical sockets (6, 7, 8) and a plurality of modular side elements having uprights (20, 21) arranged to mate with the sockets of the base element in order to stand vertically at a horizontal edge of the latter, the side elements being capable of being assembled with the base in either of two relatively horizontally displaced positions in one of which a vertical edge (24) thereof can engage and locate an upright (20) of a similar element assembled to an adjacent horizontal edge of the same base element, to form a corner, and in the other of which the vertical edge (24) can engage and locate an upright (20) of a similar element assembled to an adjacent horizontal edge of another base element mating with the first, to form an extended coplanar vertical wall.

Abstract: A cantilever racking system comprises vertical pillars formed of two metal sections of steel strip rolled to a cross-section comprising a central web portion bounded by two channel portions. The web portions are secured in facing relationship so that the juxtaposed channel portions form T-shaped slots having inturned marginal edges. Cantilever arms may be clamped in place against the end surfaces defined by channel portions for example by bolts engaging captive nuts engaging with the inturned edges of the metal strips.

Abstract: A load support system including a plurality of cantilever shelf elements each having a selectively shaped and oriented bracket assembly at one end thereof for conjointly permitting vertical displacement of the cantilever shelf elements relative to a vertical standard and locking thereof in selected load-bearing location in response to angular disposition of said shelf element relative to said standard.
