  • Publication number: 20240041690
Abstract: A device for spinal decompression therapy incorporating a handheld remote control. The handheld remote control allows a healthcare provider to prescribe both limits on, and adjustments to, the configuration of a modern spinal decompression device prior to and during a spinal decompression treatment. In certain embodiments, the handheld remote control may be used by a healthcare provider to make adjustments to a maximum spinal-elongation limit as well as to the height of an inflatable lordotic support housed within an upper mattress.

  • Publication number: 20240041688
Abstract: A device allowing a healthcare provider to fit a patient for spinal decompression treatment with a lower body harness, a ‘body harness’, that utilizes inflatable-pockets, and an external pressure exchange adapter to increase and decrease the degree to which a body harness is compressed about the pelvic girdle of a patient. The device incorporates one or more high-tension straps arrayed to connect the bottom edge of the body harness at one or more points to a high-strength ring configured to hang centered several inches below the body harness. The device accepts pressured gas from an external high-pressure source.

  • Publication number: 20240041689
Abstract: A spinal decompression device incorporating mechanisms allowing a healthcare provider or other user to prescribe one or several maximum spinal elongation limits before and during the course of a spinal decompression treatment. The degree of spinal elongation is limited by the range of motion of a lower portion of the treatment bed in relation to the upper portion of the treatment bed. The device allows a healthcare provider to prescribe patient specific spinal elongation profiles which may be tailored according to a patient's presentation at the time of treatment and also according to results from previous spinal decompression treatments.

  • Publication number: 20230173289
Abstract: A spinal therapy device combining pulsed electromagnetic frequency (PEMF) technology and lumbar spinal decompression therapy. The combined device can provide consistent PEMF therapy to a patient who is also undergoing simultaneous lumbar spinal decompression therapy. The device configuration utilizes lumbar spinal decompression methods, which are advantageous for application of PEMF to the lumbar spine.

  • Publication number: 20210259901
Abstract: An apparatus for decompressive therapy applied to the human spine. The apparatus incorporates a decompression actuator or motor connected to an attachment point on a pelvic harness, which is in turn applied to the lumbar region of a patient. The decompression motor may be raised or lowered in order to orient the pelvic harness about the lumbar spine, thereby aligning certain of the lumbar vertebra and intervertebral discs. The decompression motor applies cyclical decompressive forces to the aligned spine, providing enhanced lumbar decompression.

  • Publication number: 20210001144
Abstract: A laser device for use in spinal therapy. The laser device includes a laser manifold having a plurality of recessions therein. Multiple laser modules are disposed within the laser manifold, with each laser module being disposed within one of the plurality of recessions in the laser manifold. The laser device may be incorporated into a spinal therapy bed or other apparatus. In certain embodiments, the laser device may be attached to a motorized actuator.
