  • Publication number: 20070234677
Abstract: A frame corner joint includes first and second frame rails having hollow interiors of predetermined contours and ends in mitered abutment. A corner key has legs inserted into the mitered ends of the frame rails. End portions of the legs substantially fill the hollow interiors of the frame rails forming a substantially closed cavity within the frame rails and between the end portions of the corner key legs. Solidified resin foam is disposed within this cavity rigidifying the corner joint, while the remainder of the interiors of the frame rails preferably is substantially free of solidified foam. At least one end portion of at least one leg of the corner key preferably has a flexible wall portion to permit escape of foam from within the cavity in the event of excess foam pressure. The hollow interiors of the frame rails preferably are mirror images of each other, and the legs of the corner key, including the end portions of the legs, preferably are mirror images of each other.

  • Patent number: 6776804
Abstract: A printing paste containing: (a) 5 to 25% by weight of a polyurethane, (b) 1.5 to 20% by weight of a silicone, (c) 0 to 50% by weight of a further component and (d) water as the remainder, the sum of the amounts of components (a)+(b)+(c)+(d) being 100%, is suitable for printing textile materials.

  • Patent number: 5707071
Abstract: A sway stabilization system to inhibit an undesirable sideways sway between a towed vehicle (15) and a lead vehicle (14) comprises a brake assembly (17) having towed vehicle parts and lead vehicle parts operatively connected together in parallel with the draw bar and hitch assembly (16). The towed vehicle parts include a sway transmission member (21) secured to a draw bar (18). The lead vehicle parts include a braking surface carrier member (22), which engages with the draw bar (18), for pivoting movement with the sway transmission member (21) about the axis of the hitch pin, the braking surface carrier member (22) being subject to braking action by clutch plates (33, 34) in response to undesirable sway being detected by a coupling sensor (36).

  • Patent number: 5358145
Abstract: A microingredient dispenser for delivering a continual supply of feed additives from supply cartridges to animal feed. The dispenser includes a frame, first and second hoppers, first and second dispensing stations, a plunger drive mechanism, first and second ingredient receiver couplings, first and second cartridge retainer mechanisms, and control means for coordinating the movement of bar-coded cartridges and a drive mechanism. The hoppers hold multiple cartridges for feeding into the dispensing stations. The ingredients from the cartridges are delivered from the cartridges at the dispensing stations beneath the hoppers. The ingredients are dispensed from the cartridges as the plunger drive mechanism pushes the plungers within the cartridges. The cartridge at one dispensing station is emptied while the cartridge at the other station is being readied for dispensing when the first is empty. In this manner, a continual flow of ingredient can be maintained.

  • Patent number: 5139792
Abstract: A method for preparing, at an animal feedlot, a suspension of microaerophilic or anaerobic bacteria at a known, accurate concentration in anticipation of dispensing the suspension of bacteria into animal feed or drinking water. The method allows the livestock feedlot or poultry operators to maintain the suspension of bacteria in a substantially viable condition without significant loss of viability and without requiring constant or intermittent agitation after the suspension is created. Refrigeration of the suspension is also unnecessary if the suspension of bacteria is dispensed within a predetermined period of time after preparation.

  • Patent number: 3981441
Abstract: A counter comprises a body housing a set of discs which are freely rotatable on a sleeve and which have numerals on their peripheries. A series of drive plates are keyed to the sleeve and interleaved with the discs. At one end of the set of discs a spring-loaded collar also keyed to the sleeve urges the drive plates and discs into frictional engagement. The sleeve is rotatable with a reset wheel while the collar is driven by a star counting wheel through an orbital drive arrangement. The orbital drive arrangement may include a further collar having outwardly directed projections thereon which engage an abutment carried by a resilient arm, the abutment and projections restraining the further collar against rotation during counting. Each disc has a set of first abutments and a second abutment on its periphery.
