  • Publication number: 20230079589
Abstract: Disclosed herein is technology related to a heater device and corresponding systems and method. In examples the heater device has a frame having a base structure and a support beam. The support beam extends upward from the base structure. The frame is translatable across a ground surface. A cantilevered elongate heater extends from the frame. The elongate heater has a proximal end and a distal end, where the proximal end is coupled to the support beam of the frame. In some examples the elongate heater has a first heater element rotatable about an elongate axis central to the elongate heater. Additionally or alternatively, a plurality of heater elements are coupled to the cantilevered beam.

  • Patent number: 10246106
Abstract: Herein described are at least an elongated flooring unit and a floor. In one embodiment, an elongated flooring unit includes a left web, a right web, a top flange, and a bottom flange, in which the top flange is positioned parallel to the bottom flange. The left and right webs, and the top and bottom flanges, enclose an air space configured for use as an air duct. In one embodiment, a floor includes a plurality of alternating enclosed air ducts and open air ducts formed by interconnecting a plurality of flooring units, in which each enclosed air duct of the enclosed air ducts is formed by two webs and two flanges of each flooring unit of the plurality of flooring units, and in which the two flanges include a bottom flange and a top flange.

  • Publication number: 20130292112
Abstract: A particle mixture useful for estimating the locations of rock fractures in rock includes a mixture of particles of proppant with particles of an energetic material having a size, shape, and density that are about the same as for the particles of proppant. Particles of proppant and of an energetic material having the same desired sizes and shapes of the proppant may be obtained by collecting those particles that pass through a sieve of a chosen size but not through a sieve of the next smaller size. The location of rock fractures that contain proppant can be estimated by sending the particle mixture into fractured rock, allowing the energetic particles to release their energy, and afterward estimating the locations in the rock where the energy was released from the particles, thereby providing the locations of fractures in the rock that contain proppant.

  • Publication number: 20090293464
Abstract: An exhaust treatment assembly is provided, which includes a plurality of first grid members. The assembly also includes a plurality of second grid members engaged with the first grid members, the grid members are arranged to form spaces. A plurality of exhaust filter elements is disposed in the spaces and forms an exhaust filter block. A first side wall is engaged with the first grid members, and is adjacent a first edge of the filter block. A second side wall is engaged with the second grid members, and is adjacent a second edge of the filter block. An insulator is located between the first side wall and the first edge of the filter block, and located between the second side wall and the second edge of the filter block.

  • Patent number: 7003955
Abstract: An enhanced pumped storage power system. More particularly, the invention is a regenerative power system that utilizes the gravitational forces of downward movement of large quantities of water to convert same to electrical energy. In the preferred mode of implementation, the system utilizes a man-made lake at a first level of elevation. Though higher altitudes can be effective, the lake need only be approximately twenty to thirty feet in elevation. The lake, which may exceed one hundred acres in size, may be elevated above and adjacent a natural body of water, such as seawater at a coastline. As such, sandy terrain associated with the region facilitates initial construction of the system. An underground generator is utilized for the power conversion and pumping of the water back to the upper reservoir during times of low energy demand, allowing for significant noise reduction.

  • Patent number: 4473610
Abstract: To a substrate is added a plurality of layers of materials comprising: a first layer of thermoplastic acrylic resin, to which is added a layer of aluminum foil. Over the aluminum foil is added a layer of the resin and to the top surface of the resin is added a layer of chopped strand fiber glass mat. Over the fiber glass mat is added a layer of the resin and on top of the resin is added a finish coat of paint. In some applications aggregate material is added to the finish coat of paint.
