    Abstract: An ergonomic, multi-position work stand is disclosed in which a base member provides support and stability for a user and dissipates the forces placed on the work stand by a user. The work stand also comprises at least one vertical support member capable of securely attaching to the base member and transferring the forces placed on the work stand by a user. In addition, the work stand further comprises an upper body support member adjustably attached to the vertical support member which may be an adjustable padded support. The padded support may be adjusted in vertical height, horizontal placement and radial tilt for the comfort and convenience of a user.In another embodiment the work stand is also provided with a seat capable of supporting at least a portion of the weight of a user.

    Abstract: A footrest and stabilizer is shown which provides increased stability to chairs and the like. The footrest and stabilizer is employed with chairs which have a base with five equi-radial support members extending out from a central portion providing support for a seat or the like. The footrest and stabilizer comprises an elongated member attached to one of the support members, and extending back under the central portion. The device also comprises a footrest attached to the elongated member at a beyond the central portion of the chair. A support bracket unites the elongated member with the two support members opposite the support member to which said elongated member is attached, and distributes at least a portion of the forces placed upon the chair by a user.

    Abstract: A comparison plate has an irregularly shaped hole which is used for comparison and matching with the cross-sectional size and configuration of the free end of the split-lock ring component of a multi-piece tire rim. The comparison plate for a two-piece rim has, at a portion of its peripheral edge, a contoured edge used for comparison and matching with the annular gutter and peripheral lip portion of the rim base of the multi-piece tire rim to determine whether the rim base and split-ring are mating components of the same multi-piece rim. The comparison plate for a three-piece tire rim also has, at an additional or second portion of its peripheral edge, a second contoured portion for matching and mating with the contoured surface of the non-split annular side ring.
