  • Publication number: 20130227403
Abstract: A Line Number Retention feature for use in existing line number features of word processing applications to prevent automatic line re-numbering of a document. The Line Number Retention feature has the ability to allow users editing an existing document with line numbers to insert text and suppress the line numbering for the newly inserted text, preventing the automatic adjustment of the line numbers to the remaining original text of the document. The Line Number Retention allows the users to view the edited document with the same line numbers as the original document. The newly inserted text will not have line numbers, allowing the remaining text to retain their line numbers.

  • Publication number: 20130067595
Abstract: A Data Isolation Service for data, information, and knowledge sharing giving organizations using any type of software solution the ability to provide the public with certain public declassified information using a public facing instance of the same software solution. The Data Isolation Service allows for sensitive data to remain secure using a hybrid data storage model. This hybrid model allows for all data to remain secure without the risk that the private data becomes compromised when sharing public data. The Data Isolation Service can be used with any software technology and application system. The Data Isolation Service is a technology service that keeps private and public data partitioned allowing for the transport of public declassified data from within the organization or private database to a public database for public use, then allowing the public declassified data to re-enter the private database for internal organization use.

  • Publication number: 20120278748
Abstract: A Knowledge Dashboard for use in a Knowledge Management application taking the form of user dashboards designed to help users of a Knowledge Management application within an organization to understand and become aware of the knowledge that is being distributed. The Knowledge Dashboard has the ability to inform a knowledge worker what the organization needs from that particular individual as well as pushing other users' knowledge and information to that individual. The Knowledge Dashboard forces corporate collaboration by pointing the user to the items which are determined to be the most important within the organization which the user should be contributing their insight and knowledge to. The Knowledge Dashboard eliminates the need to perform tedious searches of the knowledge and information gathered within a Knowledge Management application to determine what knowledge and information is important to the organization.

  • Publication number: 20120232939
Abstract: A User Interactive Insurance Risk Analysis Application that is web-based which combines user imported insurance portfolios and geospatial technology with output from user defined actions and simulations providing an analysis tool for dynamic management of catastrophic exposures. The user may configure every aspect of the risk analysis application and use a variety of tools and features to create actions and receive risk information of all layers used for analysis. Precise risk information is given to the user due to the many services and modules which make up the risk analysis application, including a loss calculation service and dynamic, multi-dimensional configurable risk data display. The user receives estimated loss values and may configure which pieces of data analysis the user would like to see and how that data is presented without having to drilldown through all the data in the insurance portfolio.
