Patent number: 12683365Abstract: A power distribution system is described. The system comprises connectable modules, including an input module and at least a first output module. The input module comprises a power input interface configured to receive alternating current power and direct current power from external sources, an output controller configured to generate control signals that control power delivery by the first output module, and an output module interface having i) a power output interface that provides AC power and DC power to the first output module, and ii) a control interface that provides the control signals to the first output module for controlling the power delivery. The first output module comprises an input module interface configured to engage the output module interface and receive the AC power and the DC power from the power output interface, and two or more outlets, each configured to deliver either the AC power or the DC power.Type: GrantFiled: February 27, 2023Date of Patent: July 14, 2026Assignee: Legrand AV Inc.Inventors: Scott Byerley Lowder, Shane Christopher Roma, Anthony Philip Cullen, Leszek Markowski

Patent number: 10524381Abstract: An electronics rack component including at least one slide locking mechanism for removably securing the component to a rack. The slide lock mechanism includes a slide lock with a support configured to slide along a flat flange portion of the rail. A release lever protrudes from the top surface of the support base and provides a structure or surface for a user's finger to slide the support base along the flat flange portion. A locking latch extends downward from the bottom surface of the base and through the slot in the rail. The locking latch includes a portion spaced apart from the bottom surface of the base a distance to accommodate the flat flange portion and a flange on the electronics rack. A spring biases the slide lock toward the end of the component.Type: GrantFiled: August 20, 2019Date of Patent: December 31, 2019Assignee: Legrand AV Inc.Inventors: Nico Corbo, Leszek Markowski

Publication number: 20180352955Abstract: An adjustable mount for a TV or video monitor is disclosed which includes a fixed bracket having two side walls, each with a sloped front edge, a top end and a bottom end. A mounting notch is formed in each of the side walls. At least one adjustable bracket is removably mounted on the fixed bracket and includes a front panel with an outer surface. Two side panels are attached to the front panel and extend away from the outer surface. The side panels are spaced apart from one another and located adjacent to the side walls of the fixed bracket. A crossbar extends between the side panels and is rotatable within the notches of the fixed bracket. The rotation of the crossbar causes the adjustable bracket to pivot relative to the fixed bracket varying the angle of the front panel plane relative to the fixed bracket.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 6, 2018Publication date: December 13, 2018Inventors: Nico Corbo, Leszek Markowski

Patent number: 9648771Abstract: A multi-piece shelf for an electronics rack, the electronics rack having a base and at least two vertical posts. The multi-piece shelf includes at least two side brackets and a removable shelf, the side brackets being separate components from the shelf. Each side bracket includes a vertical wall and a shelf mounting flange that is integral to and extends laterally from the vertical wall. A post mounting flange is integrally attached to at least a portion of the vertical wall for attaching to a vertical post. The removable shelf includes a flat bottom portion with at least two shovel lances formed on and extending downward and rearward from a lower surface of the bottom portion. Each shovel lance having a locking section that is spaced apart from the bottom portion and configured to it into an aperture in the shelf mounting flange.Type: GrantFiled: March 31, 2016Date of Patent: May 9, 2017Assignee: Middle Atlantic Products, Inc.Inventors: Leszek Markowski, John Franetovich, Nico Corbo

Patent number: 7634837Abstract: An embodiment of a hinge has a first part with a pin, the pin defining a longitudinal axis, and a second part with a receptacle for the pin. The first and second parts are arranged to rotate relative to one another about the axis with the pin in the receptacle. Mutually cooperating formations on the pin and receptacle are arranged to permit separation of the first and second parts along the axis in a first position of relative rotation of the first and second parts and to obstruct separation of the first and second parts along the axis in a second position of relative rotation of the first and second parts.Type: GrantFiled: December 23, 2005Date of Patent: December 22, 2009Assignee: Middle Atlantic Products, Inc.Inventors: Robert Schluter, Richard L. King, Leszek Markowski
