Abstract: In a communication system having a number of base stations and user devices, a sending user device comprising a processor and a memory is configured to generate a packet or other communication for forwarding to a receiving user device via one or more intermediary user devices of the system. The forwarding path of the communication may involve one or more of the base stations. A payment token is associated with the communication, such that at least one of the intermediary user devices can generate a payment claim based on the payment token. The payment token is independent of the particular identities of the one or more intermediary user devices of the system.

Abstract: Method and system for handling group sharing in distributed data storage environment, to utilize online unexploited storage space and bandwidth of users. Files of a user are cut into pieces which are then distributed among other online users. The original files are stored retrievably. Key Lock Boxes (KLB) are used for storing keys encrypted. With an authentication and key exchange protocol a common group key is generated for encrypting a Master Key Lock Box. The Master KLB represents the root of an oriented tree graph, the nodes of the graph represent KLBs. There is an oriented edge between two nodes when a source KLB (17) contains the key of a target KLB (19). The KLBs (13, 14, 17, 19) contain keys (18, 20) to a subset of files. Starting from said Master Key Lock Box by using the common group key the KLBs (13, 14, 17, 19) are opened until the requested file is reached.

Abstract: Method for securing a session over a radio or infrared wireless link (101) between a terminal (11) and a mobile equipment (10), said session being secured with a SIM card (100) in said mobile equipment (10). The terminal (11) and the mobile equipment (10) both comprise a display and a keyboard or keypad and can be mutually connected through said short distance wireless link (101). The method comprises the following steps: generating a secret in one of said terminals or said smart cards, displaying this secret on the display of said terminal (11) or said user equipment (10), entering said secret or the hash value of said secret on the input means of the other one of said terminals (11) or user equipments (10), using said shared secret for securing at least a part of said session over said short distance wireless link (101).
