The memory stores instructions that, when executed, configure the processor to authenticate a client device based on a credential associated with an account record. The processor receives, from the client device, an indication of a document marker and obtains, from the account record, personal data associated with the document marker. The processor transmits, to the client device, display data based on the personal data. The display data configures the client device to display an augmented reality output based on the personal data and at least one further image of the document. The personal data may include dynamic data varying over time. The display data configuring the client device to display the augmented output may be based on current personal data obtained from the account record.

The method includes receiving input indicating an instruction to perform an action related to appointments. Responsive to the input indicating the instruction to perform the action related to appointments, it may be determined that a computing device is proximate to a physical location where locations are schedulable. Then, responsive to determining that the computing device is proximate to the physical location, information related to scheduling appointments at the physical location is received via a network. The indication based on the received information is presented at the computing device. Input requesting an action in relation to an appointment at the physical location may be received at the computing device. An indication to initiate the requested action may be sent via the network. Related computing devices and computer-readable media are also disclosed.

    Abstract: Reliable detection of input by a virtual-reality or augmented reality system is disclosed. Detection of input by the system may include displaying, via a display device, a stereoscopic rendering of a portion of a three-dimensional virtual environment including targets moving in predictable patterns. The rendering is updated based on movements tracked via a head tracker to show corresponding portions of the three-dimensional virtual environment along a gaze path through it. A first condition is detected if the gaze path corresponds to the movement one of the related targets along its pattern. Input is detected if, following detection of the first condition, it is detected that the gaze path also corresponds to the movement another of the targets along its pattern.
