  • Patent number: 11817220
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for reconstructing and simulating neocortical microcircuitry. In one aspect, a method includes providing a model of neural tissue, the model including different types of neural cells and dynamic synaptic interconnections between the neural cells, changing a parameter in the model; and identifying a change in a computational state of the model of the neural tissue responsive to the change in the parameter. The change in the parameter can, e.g., change behavior of neural cells of at least one type, change interconnectivity between neural cells, or target a location within a volume in the model that interacts with multiple types of neural cells.

  • Publication number: 20230241961
Abstract: A wheel assembly bushing for in-wheel electric motors where the bushing includes a hydraulic chamber positioned within a resilient sleeve of the bushing and a helical fluid channel that extends helically about an inner bushing member between first and second fluid channel ends, which are arranged in fluid communication with the hydraulic chamber. An outer body extends annularly about the resilient sleeve, which permits relative movement between the inner bushing member and the outer body. The fluid channel is configured to produce inertance. This inertance, when combined with other damping and stiffness effects of the wheel assembly bushing, provides phase and magnitude shifts between force and velocity, which ultimately reduce magnetic gap deformation in the in-wheel electric motor.

  • Publication number: 20200311817
Abstract: An electronic device for an interconnected and networked assessment platform includes a memory and at least one processor coupled to the memory. The at least one processor is configured to receive a request for a assessment operation, wherein the request includes a property identification for a property, calculate a full market value of the property, obtain assessment ratio study information for a property area, wherein the property area is a geographical area related to the property, determine an assessment ratio for the property area based on the obtained assessment ratio study information, apply the assessment ratio to the full market value of the property, and transmit a reconciled full market value in response to the request.

  • Patent number: 9165244
Abstract: Computer-implemented methods, software, and systems for determining functional synapses from given structural touches between cells in a neuronal circuit are described. One computer-implemented method for determining functional synapses from predetermined synapses of connections between two cells in a neuronal circuit, includes determining, from the predetermined synapses, the functional synapses by leaving a portion of the connections unused, e.g. for activation by plasticity mechanisms.

  • Patent number: 7607955
Abstract: An electrical connector for transformer studs accommodates two different size transformer studs, at different times, in a slip-fit blind bore. A large circular bore is threaded and over-sized for a slip fit of a stud of the largest size with ample clearance space to facilitate placement of the large stud in the bore. A smaller threaded recess is created by an arc formed in a periphery of the large circular bore and is sized to fit a smallest stud. A set screw holds the smaller stud in the threaded recess or the larger stud in the large circular bore. The matching threads provide an effective, efficient, long-lasting, and sturdy electrical transformer connection.
