Abstract: A container may include a receptacle having a floor, a base rim, an open end, a pair of generally parallel side walls, and a pair of end walls. The floor of the receptacle may have a generally rectangular shape, surrounded by the end walls and side walls. The container may have a length of between about 7½ inch and about 8½ inch and a height of between about 2½ inch and about 3 inch. The floor may have base rim extending downward from the floor and integral with the side walls and end walls. The side and end walls may define an open end opposite the floor. A complementary removable lid may have an elevated cap region and a rotation joint. The elevated cap region may be stackably mountable with the base rim of the receptacle. The rotation joint may divide the lid into an openable portion and a fixed portion, the openable portion being pivotable about the rotation joint. The container may be loaded with a plurality of angled collated strips of fasteners.

Abstract: A fuel tank cover assembly is provided for a fuel tank having a fill tube projecting therefrom and a fuel cap for covering an open end of the fill tube. The cover assembly includes a mounting member mounted on and secured to an end of the fill tube. A cover member is releasably attachable to the mounting member. The cover member can be pivoted to a locking position wherein the housing prevents access to the fuel cap and wherein it can be secured to the mounting member by a lock, such as a padlock. A funnel member is fixed to the open end of the filler tube, and the mounting member is attached to an exterior surface of the funnel.

Abstract: A process for preparing a compound having the formula: ##STR1## wherein R is selected from the group consisting of C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 -cycloalkyl, C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 -cycloalkylmethyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkyl, allyl and 2-methoxyethyl, by reacting: ##STR2## under defined conditions with subsequent stepwise reactions of the respective intermediate compounds with a malonic acid diester, POCl.sub.3, and by heating the final intermediate in a high boiling solvent.
