    Abstract: A semiconductor device structure includes a substrate and a metal gate stack over the substrate. The metal gate stack has a gate dielectric layer and a work function layer over the gate dielectric layer, and the gate dielectric layer has a curved sidewall and a vertical sidewall. The semiconductor device structure also includes a protection element over the metal gate stack, and the protection element extends conformally along the curved sidewall and the vertical sidewall to reach a topmost surface of the work function layer. The semiconductor device structure further includes a spacer structure over a sidewall of the metal gate stack. A topmost surface of the gate dielectric layer is lower than a topmost surface of the spacer structure, and the topmost surface of the gate dielectric layer is closer to the topmost surface of the spacer structure than the topmost surface of the work function layer.

The scalar memory address may point to a storage location of a piece of data for a first thread of the warp. And K may be a warp size representing a number of threads to be concurrently processed by executing a vector instruction.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, a user equipment (UE) may perform an adjustment procedure for one or more frequency resources of an uplink message or a downlink message to avoid collisions within a sub-band full duplex (SBFD) slot. In some cases, the UE may identify that a resource allocation for the downlink message extends over at least a portion of a resource allocation for the uplink message (or a guard band for the uplink message), and may perform the adjustment procedure for the uplink resource allocation. The adjustment procedure may include only using resources of the uplink resource allocation that do not overlap resources of the downlink resource allocation, shifting the uplink resource allocation within an uplink sub-band, or both. Additionally, or alternatively, such techniques may be extended to adjust the downlink resource allocation, for example, based on a type of the downlink message.

The receiving UE measures each reference signal of the beam sweeping burst based on receiving the one or more beam sweeping transmissions. The receiving UE transmits, to the transmitting UE, an indication of a collision between different beam sweeping transmissions during the beam sweeping burst based on the measurement satisfying a threshold.

An apparatus determines whether at least one resource in a predetermined duration is to be used for CG data transmission, the at least one resource following a target resource in time domain.
