    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a node in a multi-hop network may receive a configuration for a notification signal, wherein the configuration indicates a receive (RX) resource to be used by the node to monitor for the notification signal and a transmit (TX) resource to be used by the node to transmit the notification signal, wherein the RX resource and the TX resource are included in a time period that also includes one or more other RX resources and one or more other TX resources to be used by one or more other nodes in the multi-hop network for the notification signal. The node in a multi-hop network may refrain from transmitting or receiving in any resources within the time period except for the RX resource and the TX resource. Numerous other aspects are provided.

The formed conductive path is a curved path, therefore the resistance value of the resistance member can be controlled by controlling the conductive path.

    Abstract: An improved database-management system determines that a near-capacity leaf page of its database index must be split into multiple pages in order to store newly added index entries. The system determines whether the page should be “multi-split” into more than two pages, the total number of new pages to be added, and the range of indexed values assigned to each new page. These determinations are made as functions of the frequency with which the index page, and other index pages for the same index, have been split in the past, of the data distribution of values indexed by the leaf page, and of the degree of sequentiality of entries added to the leaf page. Leaf pages approaching capacity may also be scheduled for “pre-split” splitting during a period of lower utilization. These multi-split and pre-split operations reduce the numbers of index splits and of corresponding synchronous database-log writes.

    Abstract: A synchrophasor measurement-based disturbance identification method is described considering different penetration levels of renewable energy. A differential Teager-Kaiser energy operator (dTKEO)-based algorithm is first utilized to improve multiple-disturbances detection accuracy. Then, feature extractions via the integrated additive angular margin (AAM) loss and the long short-term memory (LSTM) network is described. This enables one to deal with intra-class similarity and inter-class variance of disturbances when high penetration renewable energy occurs. With the extracted features, a multi-stage weighted summing (MSWS) loss-based criterion is described for adaptive data window determination and fast disturbance pre-classification. Finally, the re-identification model based on feature similarity is established to identify unknown disturbances, a challenge for existing machine learning algorithms.

The metal nanowire films can be effectively patterned and the patterning can be performed with a high degree of optical similarity between the distinct patterned regions. Metal nanostructured networks are formed through the fusing of the metal nanowires to form conductive networks. Methods for patterning include, for example, using crosslinking radiation to pattern crosslinking of the polymer binder. The application of a fusing solution to the patterned film can result in low resistance areas and electrically resistive areas. After fusing, the network can provide desirable low sheet resistances while maintaining good optical transparency and low haze. A polymer overcoat can further stabilize conductive films and provide desirable optical effects.
