  • Publication number: 20170267819
Abstract: In a method for controlling shrinkage of a composite, a dried hydrophobically modified cellulose-based fiber is exposed to a slow acting resin system having a first curing time. An excess amount of the slow acting resin system is removed to separate out the pre-wetted hydrophobically modified cellulose-based fiber. The pre-wetted hydrophobically modified cellulose-based fiber is mixed with a fast acting resin system to form a mixture. The fast acting resin system has a second curing time that is less than the first curing time. The mixture is molded at a predetermined temperature. The fast acting resin system is cured prior to the slow acting resin system, and the slow acting resin system flows into free space within the curing fast acting resin system prior to the slow acting resin system being cured.

  • Publication number: 20170067011
Abstract: A method for artificial cultivation of Ophiocordyceps sinensis fruiting bodies. The method comprises: inoculating Ophiocordyceps sinensis into a sterile rice medium, cultivating at 9-13° C. for 40-60 days, after the medium is covered with mycelia, performing low-temperature induction at 1-8° C. for 60-80 days to develop a fruiting body primordium, and transferring the cultivation to 11-16° C. till harvest of the fruiting bodies. The method provided by the present invention requires no low-oxygen environment, which can reduce cultivation cost; it only needs 3-4 months from induction to harvest of fruiting bodies; the rice medium for use has a low cost, which is suitable for commercial cultivation of Ophiocordyceps sinensis fruiting bodies.

  • Publication number: 20170045398
Abstract: The present invention discloses a method for measuring an actual temperature of a flame by using all information of a radiation spectrum and a measurement system thereof. The method includes: conducting more theoretical data processing by using energy level structure correction, wherein all information of the radiation spectrum can be used; and by way of a keyboard input manner or a data transmission input manner, acquiring an energy level structure correction parameter, and finally acquiring a more accurate actual temperature value of a measured flame. The method effectively overcomes a defect that the true temperature of the flame can be obtained by only conducting radiance correction through data processing with great calculations when adpted multi-spectral temperature measurement method.

  • Publication number: 20160345554
Abstract: An artificial feeding method at low altitude for a host insect ghost moth of Ophiocordyceps sinensis. This method mainly includes: selecting an appropriate disinfectant for performing surface disinfection on ghost moth eggs, and then placing the disinfected eggs in sterile humus; feeding ghost moth larvae with carrots, disinfecting and detecting the fed carrots, and culturing the larvae till male and female pupae are obtained; identifying male and female pupae of the ghost moths, placing them at different culture temperatures, wherein the culture temperature for the male pupae is 2-6° C.

  • Publication number: 20090135455
Abstract: An image processing method of removing flaw and a device using the same are provided. The image processing method is used in an image processing device and includes the following steps. Firstly, a transparent manuscript is transparently scanned to obtain a first scanning image. Next, the transparent manuscript is reflectively scanned to obtain a second scanning image. Then, a flaw-positioning image is obtained via the second scanning image. Afterwards, the first scanning image is modified by using the flaw-positioning image according to an image-recovered method for correcting the image value of the pixel in the first scanning image corresponding to at least part of the flaw in the transparent manuscript.

  • Publication number: 20050084850
Abstract: Novel polynucleotides and secreted proteins encoded thereby are disclosed. The proteins can be used as therapeutics, for example, to stimulate blood cell generation in patients receiving cancer chemotherapy, to treat bone marrow transplantation patients, and to heal fractured bones. Polynucleotides of the invention can be used therapeutically, to provide proteins of the invention. Polynucleotides of the invention can also be used diagnostically, such as on polynucleotide arrays, to detect differential gene expression in diseased tissue compared with gene expression in normal tissue.
