Abstract: A vibration sensor/accelerometer includes, in various implementations, a MEMS die that includes a plate having an aperture, an anchor disposed within the aperture, a plurality of arms (e.g., rigid arms) extending from the anchor, and a plurality of resilient members (e.g., looped or folded springs with a carefully designed spring stiffness), each resilient member connecting the plate to an arm of the plurality of arms. The plate may be made from a solid layer in which the resilient members are etched from the same layer. The MEMS die may also include top and bottom wafers, and travel stoppers extending from the top and bottom wafers as well as through the plate.

Abstract: A MEMS die includes a substrate having an opening formed therein, and a diaphragm attached around a periphery thereof to the substrate and over the opening, wherein the diaphragm comprises first and second spaced apart layers. A backplate is disposed between the first and second spaced apart layers. One or more columnar supports are disposed through holes disposed through the backplate and connecting the first and second spaced apart layers. At least a partial vacuum exists between at least a portion of the first and second spaced apart layers. The first layer further comprises interior and exterior sub-layers at least proximate to each of the one or more columnar supports, wherein the interior sub-layers include one or more apertures disposed therethrough.

The liquid permeable sheet body has a liquid permeable portion and an annular portion circumferentially connected to a periphery of the liquid permeable portion. The annular portion includes a fixing segment and a positioning segment. The fixing segment is fixed to the carrying surface, the positioning segment is detachably positioned on the mating portion, and a length of the fixing segment is greater than a length of the positioning segment. The positioning segment is capable of being separated from the mating portion to form an opening, and the pet pad is configured to provide a moisture absorbing sheet body to be placed between the liquid permeable sheet body and the pad body through the opening.

Abstract: A pet gear assembly includes at least two main boards, a plurality of supporting posts, and a plurality of side boards. A plurality of through holes are formed in each of the at least two main boards. The plurality of supporting posts are disposed between and perpendicular to the at least two main boards, and two ends of each of the supporting posts respectively pass through each of the through holes. The plurality of side boards are respectively disposed in a frame-shaped area defined by two adjacent ones of the supporting posts and two of the main boards. The at least two main boards, the plurality of supporting posts, and the plurality of side boards jointly form a box unit, and at least one opening is formed in one of the side boards to allow a pet to enter or exit.

The lever device extends to the outer side of the top surface portion or is hidden under the top surface portion. Rollers are disposed on a bottom surface of the bottom panel. Two straps are disposed on two sides of the back panel. A connecting member is disposed between side edges of the side panels, the bottom panel, the front panel, and the top surface portion. The folding pet carrier can be stowed by folding the two side panels, the top surface portion and the front panel to be stacked on the back panel.

Abstract: A method of diagnosing allergic asthma in patients, including the steps of: obtaining from a subject a first sample of peripheral blood immune cells and a second sample of peripheral blood immune cells; adding chitin to the first sample; measuring the average amount of IFN-? in both the first sample and the second sample to get a first value and a second value respectively; and dividing the first value with the second value to get a ratio, wherein if the ratio is smaller than a threshold value, the subject is diagnosed as an allergic asthma patient.
