    Abstract: A mechanism is provided for extending and retracting wheels on a baby rocking carriage which includes two parallel arcuate beams, four base members each fixedly mounted on one distal end of each of the arcuate beams and having a passage and a cavity each defined in an underside thereof, four wheel modules each pivotally disposed on an underside of a respective one of the four base members. The mechanism includes a sleeve rotatably mounted in the passage of each of the base members and having an extension pivotally engaged with each of the wheel modules. A control member has a plug fixedly mounted in a chamber defined in the sleeve to rotate therewith and has a lug extending outwards of the sleeve. A catch member is pivotally mounted in an opening defined in the lug and has a first end portion and a second end portion having a boss detachably received in the cavity of each of the base members. A biasing member is mounted between the first end portion of the catch member and the lug.

    Abstract: A length-adjustable handle structure for a stroller comprises an outer tube, a stationary block affixed to an upper end of the outer tube, an inner tube extending through the stationary block and slidably received within the outer tube, the inner tube having a plurality of holes defined along a length thereof, an engaging block having a boss for extending into one of the plurality of holes of the inner tube to immobilize the inner tube with respect to the outer tube, and a spring urging against a wall of the outer tube to releasably press the engaging block to retain the boss extended in the hole of the inner tube. The engaging block together with the boss can be released from one of the plurality of holes of the inner tube by finger pressure, so that the inner tube can be moved to a second position.

    Abstract: A foldable playyard combined with an outer playyard frame assembly and an inner playyard frame assembly is disclosed. The outer playyard comprises an essentially rectangular upper support composed of four pairs of rail sections each centrally coupled by a switch unit, each pair of rail sections being pivotably connected to a respective corner bracket provided at four corners of the upper support, a lower support respectively engaged with four vertical rails at a lower end. The lower support includes four legs, each for receiving a corresponding vertical rail, four tilting rails sections each pivotably coupled to one of the legs at one end thereof, two pairs of curved L-shaped rail sections, each respectively coupled with the other ends of two adjacent tilting rails by a hinge and pivotably attached to each other at a different end and two posts each disposed under one of the hinges and supporting the corresponding hinge, providing a stable lower support structure.

A pivot bracket has two distal ends each pivotally engaged with a second distal end of one of the two supporting braces. L-shaped first and second resting rails each have a vertical section mounted on an upper portion of one of the two fasteners. A tubular block is mounted around one distal end of a horizontal section of the first resting rail and has a first transmission member rotatably mounted thereon. A second transmission member is rotatably mounted on one distal end of a horizontal section of the second resting rail and is pivotally engaged with the first transmission member.

Two pairs of legs, each pair is fixedly mounted around first and second ends of a corresponding one of the two linking rods to rotate therewith. Two adjusting knobs each have an insert rotatably received in a corresponding one of the two lug portions. A cavity is defined in the insert for fixedly receiving the second end of a corresponding one of the linking rods therein such that the adjusting knob, the linking rod and the associated two legs are rotated in concert with each other.

    Abstract: A backrest adjusting device for a stroller includes a slidable seat slidably mounted to each of two limbs of a backrest frame member of the stroller. Each slidable seat includes a receptacle, a spring mounted in the receptacle, a first pin mounted above the spring and transversely passing through an associated limb of the backrest frame member, a stop piece mounted in the receptacle and located above the first pin thereby defining a lowermost position of the slidable seat, and a second pin projecting outward from an outer periphery thereof. A pull bar is mounted between the slidable seats. The second pins engage with sockets defined in a frame of the stroller when the backrest frame member is in a substantially upright position. The backrest frame member is pivotable to a substantially horizontal position when the second pins disengage with the sockets upon actuation of the pull bar which causes upward movement of the slidable seats.

The positioning device includes a groove therein, a sliding hook member slidably mounted in the groove and having a hook, a button having a first end pivotally mounted to the positioning device and a second resting on an upper end of the sliding hook member to actuate the sliding hook member, and a spring for biasing the sliding hook member upwardly. The retainer device includes a first end securely mounted to the associated end of the handle, a second end pivotally mounted to the positioning means, and a retainer member projecting transversely from a longitudinal direction thereof for releasably engaging with the hook of the sliding hook member.

    Abstract: A folding device stroller includes a positioning seat securely mounted to an upper end of each of two front members and a retainer seat securely mounted to an associated end of a handle of the stroller, the associated end of the handle being pivotally mounted to the positioning seat. The positioning seat includes a transverse positioning ring formed on an upper end thereof and a spring-biased button partially received in the positioning ring. The retainer seat includes a cutout defined therein thereby forming a handgrip and a transverse bore defined in a lower end thereof through which the button is passable. The button is biased to a position partially received in the bore to retain the stroller in an extended position, and the stroller is foldable when the button is pressed inwardly to disengage from the bore.
