The enclosure is deposed a control device inside. When the power plug receives the AC power, the AC power can not be transmitted to the control device and the power socket if the control device does not operate. If the control device operates, the AC power is supposed to supply power to the control device and the power socket. When the control device measures that the power supply time is out, the AC power supply ceases to supply power to the power socket. Thus the AC power can not be transmitted to the control device and the power socket, and the purpose of energy saving and zero power consumption can be achieved.

    Abstract: A socket unit includes a main body, a rotational cover and a spring. The main body has a circular indented region, which is provided with three slots. In assembly, a protruding unit is connected with the circular indented region. The rotational cover can fully cover the three slots. The rotational cover has three slots and whose sizes are slightly larger than or substantially equal to those of the slots of the main body. The spring is fitted onto the protruding unit of the rotational cover. The inner end of the spring is fixedly fitted onto the circular indented region and the outer end of the spring is fixedly fitted onto the protruding unit. In use, the prongs of the plug is inserted and the rotational cover is rotated so that the three slots of the rotational cover may line up with the three slots of the main body to allow the three prongs of the plug to reach the three slots. When the plug is unplugged, the rotational cover can fully close the three slots through the returning force of the spring.

    Abstract: In a power control apparatus for a power strip, the power strip includes at least one power outlet being able to supply power when the power strip is empowered. Whether auxiliary power outlets are able to supply power is controlled by the control apparatus. The control apparatus includes a USB connector protruding outward the surface of the power strip, and the USB connector is able to be connected to a computer host, so as to make the signal lines of the USB connector able to receive signals from the computer host and to deliver the computer signals to a comparison circuit for being compared with a reference level through a signal isolation circuit and a filter circuit. Once the output signal of the filter circuit is lower than the reference level, the comparison circuit outputs the signal to the amplifier circuit for being amplified to drive the relay, so as to deliver the AC power to each power outlet of the power strip.
