  • Patent number: 8373573
Abstract: A display system utilizes a tilting sensor in a viewing device to transmit a wireless signal containing tilting information to a display device when a person who puts on the viewing device has tilting movements about an axis that connects between the viewing device and the display device. The display device adjusts a multimedia content displayed on a panel according to the tilting information by physically rotating the panel about the same axis or rotating the multimedia content about the same axis before the content is displayed on the panel to synchronize with the tilting angle of the viewing device.

  • Publication number: 20130024702
Abstract: A connecting module includes a plurality of input ends and an output end. The output end of the connecting module is coupled to an external storage device. When at least two input ends of the connecting module are coupled to corresponding output ends of the host device, the connecting module outputs power supplied by the host device to the external storage device via the plurality of input ends. This way, the connecting module outputs power to the external device when at least two input ends of the connecting module are coupled to the host device, for ensuring the external storage device to receive sufficient power at the instant the external storage device receives power.

  • Patent number: 8311839
Abstract: An image display device includes a display unit, a storage unit, a voice receiving unit and a processing unit. The storage unit stores a plurality of image data, a plurality of voice data and a plurality of image files, wherein each of the image data is corresponding to one of the voice data respectively. The voice receiving unit receives a current voice. The processing unit judges whether the current voice is similar to one of the voice data, so as to determine one image data corresponding to the current voice. When the current voice is similar to one of the voice data, the processing unit determines whether each of the image files contains the image data corresponding to the current voice and then displays the image file(s), which contain the image data corresponding to the current voice, on the display unit.

  • Publication number: 20120089765
Abstract: A non-volatile memory device is configured to perform automatic boundary alignment between logical access units of a file system and physical access units of the non-volatile memory device. The file system of the non-volatile memory device is configured to include a partition having a system data area and a user data area which comprises a plurality of logical access units. The boundaries of the logical access units in the partition are aligned with the boundaries of physical access units of the non-volatile memory device. Unnecessary data access may be reduced without introducing an additional mapping table or re-formatting storage space in the partition.

  • Publication number: 20120038823
Abstract: A display system uses a broadcast device that can receive a plurality of media signals from a plurality of media sources and interlace two or more media signals frame-by-frame to form a display signal with multiplied frequency for being displayed on its panel. A plurality of goggles and corresponding synchronizing devices, selectors, and audio playback components are used in the display system to select and view/listen to each dedicated media signals. Each goggle used by each user is synchronized to turn on by following the timing of its selected media signals so that two or more users who wear dedicated goggles can see different programs on a single broadcast device at the same time.

  • Publication number: 20110191358
Abstract: A file format conversion system includes a web server, a service providing server and an electronic device. The web server provides a first URL associated with a first file. The electronic device sends a request of the first URL to the service providing server. The service providing server analyzes the first URL based on the request and generates a first list, which records file formats stored at the first URL. The electronic device separates the first list into a second list, which records file formats supported by the electronic device, and a third list, which records file formats not supported by the electronic device. After receiving the second and third list, the service providing server updates two databases inside. The service providing server converts the first file into a second file based on the second and third lists and generates a second URL associated with the second file.
