Abstract: An orthodontic appliance includes a body portion, and a traction component, a transmission component and an occupying component which are independently provided, the body portion is provided with a slot and an open accommodating cavity communicated with the slot, and the traction component is detachably connected to the accommodating cavity and/or the transmission component; the accommodating cavity accommodates the transmission component, the occupying component is provided in the slot or is provided in the accommodating cavity and the slot, and the transmission component is transmittingly connected to the occupying component; the transmission component is provided with a transmission adaptation position configured to be transmittingly connected to a screwing tool, and the transmission component drives the occupying component to at least partially enter or exit the slot or move in the slot in a slot width direction, so as to change an effective space of the slot.

For instance, the method may include: connecting with a user device associated with and remote from a first vehicle in a shared air traffic control sector; receiving voice communication data from at least one of the user device, a second vehicle in the shared air traffic control sector, and an air traffic control station in the shared air traffic control sector; generating analog data or digital data based on the received voice communication data; determining a recipient for the generated analog data or generated digital data in the shared air traffic control sector; transmitting the generated analog data or generated digital data to the recipient; and terminating the connection with the user device as the first vehicle leaves the shared air traffic control sector.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are photoelectrodes and methods of making and use thereof. For example, disclosed herein are photo-electrodes comprising: a light absorbing layer; an insulator layer disposed on the light absorbing layer, wherein the insulator layer has an average thickness of 20 nanometers (nm) or more; and a set of protrusions, wherein each protrusion penetrates through the insulator layer to the light absorbing layer, such that each protrusion is in physical and electrical contact with the light absorbing layer; and a plurality of particles disposed on the insulator layer, wherein a least a portion of the plurality of particles are in physical and electrical contact with at least a portion of the set of protrusions; and wherein the plurality of particles and optionally the set of protrusions comprise a catalyst material.

Abstract: A knowledge graph embedding-based approach to content labeling is used for targeted content delivery in a web platform, such as a job website. Job posting data of the web platform is normalized and used to train a knowledge graph embedding. Labels are determined for job posting data of the web platform using the trained knowledge graph embedding, and mappings are determined between the labels and segments of users of the web platform. Current user data is obtained for a user of the web platform. A current segment to which the user corresponds is determined based on the current user data, a current mapping to which the current segment corresponds is determined based on the current segment, and targeted content to deliver to a device of the user is determined according to the current mapping. The targeted content may then be delivered to the user device.

Abstract: A system for generating a geographically-clustered routing solution includes a computer system configured to receive a plurality of orders. Each order in the plurality of orders comprises a geographic location. The plurality of orders are clustered into a plurality of clusters based on the geographic location of each order and a routing solution is generated for each of the plurality of clusters. Each routing solution is transmitted to at least one vehicle system.

The encoder may include: a sensor module for collecting sensor data of the motor with a sensor while the motor is running; a storage module storing motor running records; and a microcontroller unit. The microcontroller is programmed to determine a running state of the motor using the sensor data, storing information about the running state into the storage module as a motor running record in response to a determination that the running state is a predefined running state, and providing at least one of the motor running records stored in the storage module via a communication interface in response to a reading request received from the communication interface.

A trench capacitor having an inner electrode and a node dielectric layer is formed in a trench of the substrate. The inner electrode and the node dielectric layer extend into the doped silicon substrate. A select transistor is disposed in the silicon device layer. An embedded contact is disposed atop the trench capacitor to electrically couple a doped region of the select transistor with the inner electrode. A first dielectric layer is disposed around the select transistor. A second dielectric layer is deposited on the first dielectric layer. A contact plug is formed in the second dielectric layer and the first dielectric layer and is in direct contact with the embedded contact. A memory stack with a MTJ element is disposed on the contact plug.

Abstract: Described embodiments generally relate to a hydrocyclone for isolating particles within a fluid. The hydrocyclone comprises an upper conical section defining at least one inlet to receive the fluid, a vortex finder extending into the upper conical section, and an overflow port fluidly connected to the vortex finder and configured to expel a portion of the fluid out of the upper conical section; and a lower conical section defining an underflow port to expel the remaining fluid out of the lower conical section, the lower conical section being fluidly connected to the upper conical section to define a single hollow volume. The shape of the hydrocyclone causes particles smaller than a predetermined size to be isolated by expelling the particles from the overflow port.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a preparation method of a niobium diselenide (NbSe2) film with ultra-low friction and low electrical noise under sliding electrical contact in vacuum. The method uses a direct current (DC) closed field magnetron sputtering method for preparation. Through process design of low deposition pressure and low sputtering energy, on one hand, a purity of an NbSe2 sputtered product is kept, generation of interference phases such as NbSe3 is avoided, and electrical conductivity of the sputtered NbSe2 film is greatly improved, and on the other hand, a nanocrystalline/amorphous superlattice composite structure is formed, and excellent mechanical and lubricating properties are achieved. Under sliding electrical contact in vacuum, compared with those of a common electroplated gold coating, a friction coefficient of the film is reduced to 0.02 from 0.25, a wear life is prolonged by at least 7 times, and the electrical noise is reduced by about 50%.

Abstract: The present disclosure belongs to the technical field of functional films, and in particular relates to a self-lubricating film over wide temperature ranges in vacuum and a preparation method and use thereof. The present disclosure provides a self-lubricating film over wide temperature ranges in vacuum, including: a bonding layer, a transition layer and a lubricating layer laminated in sequence, wherein the bonding layer has a chemical composition of Ti; the transition layer has a chemical composition of Ti and TiB2; the lubricating layer has a chemical composition of Ti, TiB2 and MoS2. In the present disclosure, when the self-lubricating films over wide temperature ranges in vacuum are exposed to different temperatures, different components of Ti, TiB2 and MoS2 in the films may be correspondingly excited to enrich in frictional contact areas.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method and apparatus for enabling interactive visualization of three-dimensional volumetric models. The method involves maintaining three-dimensional volumetric models represented by explicit surfaces. In accordance with an embodiment of the disclosure, the method also involves, for a current point of view, generating and displaying images of the volumetric models in a manner that clarifies internal structures by accounting for light attenuation inside the volumetric models as a function of spatial positions of the explicit surfaces. The method also involves, upon receiving user input that adjusts a display variable, repeating the generating and the displaying of the images in accordance with the display variable that has been adjusted, thereby enabling interactive visualization of the volumetric models while simultaneously clarifying the internal structures by accounting for the light attenuation inside the volumetric models.

The movable element includes at least one protruding end, which is received in another of the main body and the movable part, the movable element cooperates with the elastic member to fix the movable part at least in the closed position, and the movable element acquires a moving space by squeezing the elastic member. During the opening and closing of the movable part, the wear-resistant movable element replaces the elastic element to cause friction with the movable part, which improves the wear resistance and service life of the appliance.
