Publication number: 20250115541Abstract: The disclosure relates to the technical filed of organic synthesis, in particular to a method for preparing veratrole. In the disclosure, veratrole is prepared by using lithium hydroxide instead of sodium hydroxide, catechol as raw material, and dimethyl sulfate as methylating agent. Comparing with the existing method of adding sodium hydroxide solution, the method according to the disclosure allows reduced reaction temperature, shortened reaction time, and thereby improves the stability and safety of the reaction and the product yield. The experimental data of the examples in the disclosure shows a veratrole yield up to 95%. Furthermore, the preparation method according to the disclosure does not need to be carried out under a reflux condition, the operation of which is simpler, thereby further improving the safety and stability of the reaction.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 20, 2022Publication date: April 10, 2025Applicant: SHANDONG HOLLY PHARMACEUTICAL CO., LTD.Inventors: Huaqiang Wu, Lanhua Li, Yuenan Qiu, Zhiyuan Liu, Hongyuan Zhang, Lijun Jiang, Zhen Lin, Shuqiang Gai, Kuankuan Sun

Patent number: 8693158Abstract: A method and apparatus provide an improved EM reverberation chamber which facilitates the dynamic three dimensional (3D) manipulation of EM field polarization within the chamber and produces a uniform field distribution inside the chamber. The chamber includes one or more walls with tunable lumped elements. A controller is provided to generate one or more control signals that are applied to the lumped elements and tunes their impedance in response to the one or more control signals. The result is to generate, within the chamber an electromagnetic field that appears to be random or pseudo-random in polarization, but which is sufficiently uniform in magnitude for EM testing.Type: GrantFiled: January 18, 2012Date of Patent: April 8, 2014Assignee: The University of Hong KongInventors: Weng Cho Chew, Bo Zhu, Lijun Jiang, Qi Dai

Patent number: 8146043Abstract: A method for performing a signal integrity analysis on an integrated circuit (IC) that includes a plurality of scatterers by dividing the scatterers into subgroups using a nested Huygens' equivalence principle algorithm and solving a set of equations realized thereby with a reduced coupling matrix. The method includes decomposing the IC design into a plurality of small non-overlapping circuit sub-domains, wherein each of the sub-domains is formed as a small, enclosed region. Each sub-domain is analyzed independently of the other sub-domains using only electric fields to represent the interactions of each sub-domains with the other sub-domains as equivalent currents on equivalent surfaces of the plurality of sub-domains. Neighboring equivalent sub-domains are grouped together to form larger sub-domains using equivalent currents on equivalent surfaces to represent the interactions of the sub-domains.Type: GrantFiled: March 5, 2010Date of Patent: March 27, 2012Assignee: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: Lijun Jiang, Jason D.
