  • Patent number: 7258468
Abstract: The present invention provides an assembling structure for replaceably assembling a lamp to an image output device. The image output device includes a housing and a lens. The housing includes a first surface having an opening. The lens is positioned on the first surface. The structure of the present invention includes a body being movably disposed within the housing via the opening and a cover corresponding to the opening. The cover is positioned at a first position for covering the opening, and, as the cover is moved to a second position, the opening is exposed allowing the body to move into or move out of the housing through the opening.

  • Patent number: 7018082
Abstract: A light bulb assembly with reduced tolerance for engaging a light bulb to a light engine. The light bulb has a first positioning portion. The light bulb assembly has a light machine and a light bulb frame. The light machine has a second positioning portion and an engaging portion for fixing the light bulb in a determined position when the first positioning portion of the light bulb abuts the second positioning portion. The light bulb frame is relatively fixed to the light machine for supporting the light bulb; the light bulb frame has a leaning portion for leaning on the first positioning portion of the light bulb, and an elastic pressure portion for applying three-dimensional pressure on the light bulb for moving toward the determined position.

  • Patent number: 6837608
Abstract: The present invention provides a heat-sinking apparatus for a light pipe. The light pipe is disposed on an optical engine of a projector and optically couples with a light source. The heat-sinking apparatus includes a cover made of a heat conductive material and a fan. The cover covers the light pipe and uniformly distributes thermal energy generated by the light source over the light pipe. The fan dissipates the thermal energy distributed over the light pipe.

  • Publication number: 20030214740
Abstract: An installation frame for a color wheel assembly of a projection apparatus, for firmly installing the color wheel assembly on a chassis of the apparatus, includes a base to be fixed on the chassis, a holding end for fastening the color wheel assembly, and a body connecting the base and the holding end. In particularly, the body forms a triangle to have the base as a side of the triangle and the holding end positioned at an angle opposing to the side. By providing the installation frame, the color wheel assembly can be isolated in construction from a cooperated optical device so as to reduce the entire operational noise level of the apparatus.
