  • Publication number: 20200264345
Abstract: The present invention provides a platform and a method for rapidly and precisely measuring concentration-dependent diffusion coefficients of binary solution. The key element of the platform is an asymmetric liquid-core cylindrical lens, which acts as both diffusion cell and imaging device to take diffusion image, concentration spatial and temporal profile of diffusion solution, Ce(z, t), can be deduced from the diffusion image. Assuming concentration-dependent diffusion coefficient to be a polynomial D(C)=D0(1+?1C+?2C2+?3C3+ . . . ), where D0, ?1, ?2 and ?3 are under-determined parameters, the finite difference method is applied to solve numerically Fick diffusion equation, the calculated concentration profiles (Cn(z, t)s) by varying the under-determined parameters are compared with the Ce(z, t), the parameters corresponding minimum concentration standard deviation are selected to determine D(C).

  • Publication number: 20200199698
Abstract: The disclosure discloses a method for reinforcing a rail by laser and auxiliary heat source efficient hybrid cladding. The laser and the auxiliary heat source simultaneously apply on a region to be cladded of a rail surface. The laser serves as a main heat source to enable simultaneous and rapid fusion of an added metal powder and partial substrate material in the rail surface to form a molten pool. The auxiliary heat source moves with the laser heat source in the same direction at the same speed, and performs synchronous preheating and/or post-heating on the laser molten pool, the heat-affected zone and the surface layer of the rail substrate to reduce the temperature gradient, thereby reducing the cooling rate, and avoiding martensite transformation and cracking in the heat-affected zone.

  • Publication number: 20200186057
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method for controlling compressor braking, a frequency converter and a variable speed compressor. The method includes steps of: determining to brake a compressor, wherein a brake circuit includes three switching units and the three switching units are respectively electrically connected to three phases of windings of a motor of the compressor; actuating two of the three switching units to short-circuit two phases of windings of the motor. The two phases of windings of the motor are short-circuited by controlling the three switching units to generate braking torque, such that the compressor is braked without introducing a DC voltage, and thus the braking energy consumption is reduced. Besides, by turning on only two switches at a time, the switching abrasion is reduced, and the overall service life of the three switching units is effectively improved.

  • Patent number: 10579556
Abstract: A method, computer program product, and system includes a processing circuit(s) allocating a page of system memory address space to a device. The allocating includes the processing circuits(s) obtaining base address registers of the device in a bus and determining a portion of the page of the system memory address space to allocate to the base address registers. The processing circuits(s) sorts the base address registers, in a descending order, according to their alignments and adds sizes of the sorted base address registers to determine the portion of the page. The processing circuit(s) determines a remainder of the page: a difference between a size of the page and the portion of the page. The processing circuit(s) requests a virtual resource of a size equal to the remainder and allocates the page to the sorted base address registers and to the virtual resource.
