  • Patent number: 8307221
Abstract: A mobile communication device includes a control circuit unit, a first interface, a status change detecting circuit, and an embedded controller. The control circuit unit is operated in either a normal working mode or a power-saving mode. The first interface is connected with the data card and the control circuit unit. The status change detecting circuit is connected with the first interface. The embedded controller is connected with the status change detecting circuit and the control circuit unit. If the control circuit unit is operated in the power-saving mode and the data card is switched from a standby status to a working status, the data card generates a status-changing signal to the status change detecting circuit. In response to the status-changing signal, the control circuit unit is controlled to be switched from the power-saving mode to the normal working mode by the embedded controller.

  • Publication number: 20090313394
Abstract: A computer device and a control method for connecting computer peripheral equipment are provided. The computer device is used to be connected to the peripheral equipment, and it includes a connecting interface, a memory module storing a plurality of nonresident applications, a detecting module having a TSR detecting program and a retrieving module. When the TSR detecting program detects that the connecting interface is coupled to peripheral equipment, a detecting signal is generated. The retrieving module retrieves the nonresident applications corresponding to the peripheral equipment from the memory module according to the detecting signal and executes the nonresident applications.

  • Publication number: 20080198823
Abstract: A user can link a station to an access point by triggering buttons of the station and the access point respectively. After the buttons are triggered, the station scans the SSID of the access point. The access point updates SSID and sends out the new SSID to the station in response to the station's request. Then, the station generates a security key according to the new SSID and links the access point according to the new SSID and the security key so as to establish a WLAN link.
